Your family and friends can gather to create memories in beautiful Vineyard Haven. This house is a 1-mile walk to downtown restaurants, a 1.2 mile walk to the Vineyard Haven ferry, and a 0.1-mile walk to Tashmoo Pond (Lake St. Landing). Owen Park Beach is a 0.8 mile walk. If you want to catch a ride to get your stuff to the house or to explore other towns on MV, there are sufficient taxis, Ubers, and Lyfts to get you from place to place. The bus is also a great option for getting around the island, and it picks up at the circular road in front of the ferry (so it's also a 1-mi walk from the house).

The downstairs features an open floor plan from kitchen > dining > living room. A new mini split providing air conditioning through a mini split maintains a comfortable temperature during your stay. There is a washer and dryer for your use. There are five bedrooms and two bathrooms (both including a tub and shower) as well as an outdoor shower. Bedding, towels, and beach towels are included in your stay.<br /> <br /> There are 5 bedrooms: <br /> Two bedrooms upstairs with 1 twin bed each (each with an additional pull-out trundle twin bed);<br /> One bedroom upstairs with 2 twin beds (each with an additional pull-out trundle twin bed);<br /> Two bedrooms — one upstairs and one downstairs — each with a Queen-sized bed (and one with a pack-and-play).<br /> <br /> The backyard features the outdoor shower, a deck with furniture, and a shed with bikes, beach chairs, tennis rackets, and pickleball set for your use. There are public tennis courts a few houses down.<br /> <br /> Please note: the house is set back from the street, with our neighbor's house directly in front of it. We are close with these neighbors, and they also rent for part of the summer. There are neighbors on all sides, so please keep pets secured and music and noise at a respectful volume after dark. read more show less
