Perfect for family and friends, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage is located at the end of a private lane and directly on Hither Creek in Madaket, at the west end of the island. The house is a five-minute walk from one of the island's best surf and fishing beaches. (Madaket Beach has been ranked a top ten beach in Massachusetts by the Boston Globe: ''The remoteness can sometimes make you feel as though you know a secret kept from other islanders.'')

The second-floor living area and deck offer incredible water views and spectacular sunsets. The master bedroom, kitchen, and dining area are located upstairs, too. Two bedrooms with twin beds and a full bathroom are on the ground floor. The house comes with a rowboat for exploring Hither Creek.

This cottage has been in our family for decades. We have tenants who have been coming back year after year for the quiet escape that Topside provides. Comfortable enough to call home for a week, or two, or three, Topside can provide a hub for your island activities or a place to kick back and watch the birds or the boats on the water and never leave, except to walk to the beach and take a swim before watching the sunset from the deck.
