Nantucket Town Vacation Rental - ID 32056

We visited Nantucket for a family wedding and stayed at the back house. Cynthia provided a beautifully furnished 4BR and 2 1/2 bath with an eat-in kitchen, living room and even a lovely yard which is furnished with outdoor picnic table, deck with seating and a gas grill. We traveled with our 5 year old twins (ring bearer/flower girl) who loved it as much as we did. The place was clean, comfortable and was in an amazing location with a 10 min walk to town!

We booked this home over a year in advance and Cynthia was extremely responsive and clear on what was needed from my side. The price is extremely reasonable for Nantucket and she made all the guests feel like they were at home - Cynthia even offered some beach toys for our baby - very generous.

The house has everything you need for a trip to nantucket and comfortably sleeps 8 people and is spacious enough to stay inside on off days, and you can even BBQ in the garden!. Rest assured with Cynthia at the helm you will have a lovely time on Nantucket!

The home is beautiful and the location is a bonus. The home is set up with a king bed and a really nice bathroom with walk-in shower. Queen room and single room share a bathroom. There is a queen bed and pull out sofa in the sun room in the front of the home. All is updated with nice furnishing. Kitchen was large enough for our family of 7. AC worked great. Loved that we could walk in town in 10 minutes right down Orange Street and to Stop and Shop for groceries. Yard area has a gas grill and a patio with umbrella/ table/chairs. Very clean home with washer/dryer in the basement. Everything was there beach chairs/towels and fully equipped kitchen. So easy to get on the bike trails. We would stay at this property again!

We were here for the July 4th week. The house is adorable and has everything you need! You can't beat the location! Easy walk/bike to town, DowneyFlake for the best donuts and lots of great spots! Beating the summer Nantucket traffic is a plus! Quick ride to beach too! Back yard is amazing! We had a great time! Will definitely be back!

We absolutely love Nantucket! This rental is in a great location, nice backyard, very clean and comes complete with everything you will need to enjoy your stay!

Perfect location and perfect property
This property was a great fit for a group of 5 women. The location was perfect for us. We did not bring a car over with us. We were able to walk to downtown and also walkable to Island Grill, Stop and Shop, Wicked Bakery. The property was well stocked with towels and kitchen staples-glasses, cups, utensils etc. tThank you for a wonderful girlfriend getaway !

We recently stayed at this wonderfully appointed cottage on Nantucket that was within walking distance (or a 3-4 minute drive) to downtown. It was quite comfortable for with two young children and our 2 nieces who came along to babysit while we went out at night. It was extremely clean and had all necessary kitchen staples. The owner was exceptionally responsive and make the visit easy. We are hoping to stay here again soon!

What an absolute gem! The bungalow had everything and then some. Well appointed, immaculate and a short walk to downtown. As we were there for the Christmas stroll we could only imagine how much fun it would be to visit in the summer! Cynthia, we are looking forward to planning our next visit! Thank you for your quick responses and ease in working with you!

Well, we are home from a wonderful stay at this fabulous home on Orange Street, Nantucket! We had a weekend getaway planned in 2020, and then Covid hit! Cynthia graciously kept our reservation open until we could finally make it last weekend! It was such a wonderful gesture and deeply appreciated!

The house itself was beyond all of my family's expectations! I've been fortunate to stay in the house several times in the past with a different group, so I was so excited to bring my family for the weekend! Their reactions included "OMG", "Beautiful" , "what's the color of the paint" and the best "I'm speechless"!

Spotlessly clean, fully equipped (washer and dryer people!)! a beautiful patio to the rear of the house with a gorgeous back yard! Just too many things to compliment Cynthia on! Decorated beautifully, maintained to perfection! 2 full baths and a half bath make living with a crowd easy, peazy!

We have already booked for next year - we will be back again and again! Thank you so much Cynthia, for being such a wonderful hostess willing to share your home with us! We truly had the time of our lives!

Our family enjoyed a perfect vacation at this sweet, little gem. The home has everything you could ask for: it's very clean with nice furnishings, has a spacious yard with a great deck and gas grill, off-street parking, and right next door to Cumberland Farms (a favorite of our cousin for morning coffee).

The homeowner, Cynthia, was always available to immediately address any questions, and checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. The cottage is, unfortunately, booked for our week next year - but we've already reserved our week for '23. It is not to be missed!

Pictures don't do this property justice. The cottage is well appointed, clean, is a convenient walk to town, beach, great restaurants, liquor store and grocery. The transportation stop to go anywhere on the island is practically right out the front door.

The yard is unbelievably beautiful and peaceful. The home easily fit two families comfortably. Cynthia was accommodating, flexible and great to work with. We will definitely book here again

Awesome place, easily walk to town, great location, very comfortable. We had 6 guys on a golf trip and it was perfect, Cynthia was very accommodating and great to work with, we'll be coming back next year!

We have been going to Nantucket in the fall for 30 years, the last 3 years with our grown children. A wonderful tradition with them. This home provided a cozy, relaxing stay. The cottage was very clean, and thoughtfully laid out. We enjoyed the private backyard.

After a long winter and spring we took a chance and boarded the ferry for what we knew would be a different type of vacation from our previous ones spent on Nantucket. Beautiful Dreamer cottage was our home for the week and it lived up to its name. Although in town on beautiful Orange Street it is set back and private( best of both worlds). The cottage was super clean, large and very comfortable for our family of 6 . The kitchen had everything we needed, which was great, because this summer We needed to cook our meals at home.

I can't say enough about how pleasing the decor and feel of the house was . The bonus to us was the large private back yard . With two small children we used it all the time to gather for dinner, have a game of soccer( it was that big) or to just sit and relax after a day at our favorite beaches (Pocomo and Tom Nevers). Thank you so much Cynthia for making your home so inviting! In this turbulent year it turn out to be the "Best Vacation Ever"!

We had the pleasure of staying here for a week. We had the most amazing time. Cynthia was terrific from the moment I inquired about the property, to questions I had before arrival, and was available for questions during our stay. She gets back to you so fast.

My husband and I and our 3 children (age 7, 4, and 1) loved the house. It was super clean, updated, lots of fresh towels, sheets, and the kitchen was fully stocked. The cleaning company did such a great job and I really appreciated it- especially during Covid. There were plenty of beach chairs and the backyard was so large. The house is in a great location- close to the bike path, the bus is right across the street, quick walk in to town and so close to Wicked Bakery, Stop and Shop and many other stores. We would love to stay here again. We didn't bring our car, but next time if we do, it's great to have the parking spot. My husband was able to work from home during the morning and the wifi speed was fast! Loved our trip!

We enjoyed our week! We had 7 adults stay for the week. The house was roomy, clean, and accommodated all our vacation needs. We loved our dinners and games in the private backyard. It was an easy walk to all the Nantucket shops and restaurants. The house had everything we needed for the beach. We had our bikes and car and went to different beaches each day.

We are looking forward to staying again!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay! So nice to arrive to an immaculate home, especially during these uncertain times. Great communication with the owner, Cynthia responded quickly to all questions. The 4 bedrooms were an absolute plus, our 3 kids loved having their own room. The house had everything we needed, plenty of chairs and towels for the beach. Town was a pleasant mile walk, I would recommend bringing a car however to reach the beaches. Highly recommend!

Been traveling to Nantucket for over 20 years. Mostly on boats but decided to rent a house this year. Love both houses. The front house has great space in kitchen and living area and back house has yard and more sleeping areas. Perfect location to walk to town. Completely stocked with everything you need. Very clean and Cynthia is very attentive and helpful. Definitely coming back!

Nantucket Vacation
Cynthia (the owner) was extremely helpful and responsive to any and all concerns and questions we had. Her home is ideally located within a short walking distance to town. The property was very clean and extremely well equipped with everything you could want to enjoy your stay. The back yard and deck were very relaxing places to enjoy a private get together with family. If I return to Nantucket I would definitely stay here again.

Nantucket gem for families
This Nantucket home offers a great VRBO experience. The house is bigger than we thought from the photos (including a rather large backyard which was nice to relax in) and everything was very clean and in great working order. The location of the house is such that it is walkable to quite a few things in town -- about 3/4 of a mile to the Nantucket pier/docks and surrounding retail and a much shorter walk to other restaurants in the opposite direction (we had burgers at Lola's one night that were delicious!). We had a family of six in the house (4 kids ages 5-15) and there was plenty of room in the house and everyone had their own bed. We strongly recommend this place and certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on our next trip back to Nantucket. Cynthia was great to work with and extremely responsive -- this is a great choice for an extended Nantucket stay.

We had a wonderful time in Nantucket celebrating a 50th Birthday with Friends. This house was awesome. Great location for walking to restaurants and shops, and it was absolutely immaculate. We would stay there again, and plan to make this an annual trip. Cynthia was great to work with, and she made the rental process very easy. Loved it.

Lovely accommodations and close to town
We were in town for business for a couple of days and Cynthia’s place was perfect. We were close to town and ferry for multiple ferry pickups/drop offs. The house was exactly as pictured, small common area and kitchen and 4 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms and an additional half bath off kitchen and laundry. Central air and heat allowed for great climate control and the whole place was immaculate. We didn’t do much beaching or playing tourist due to our obligations but we did enjoy the spacious and lovingly maintained backyard and deck when the sun made an appearance. Communication when needed was available and clear. We would definitely rent again if we had a group this size.

We had a wonderful stay at Cynthia's property on Nantucket. The home is about a 10 minute walk from the ferry and very easy to find. The house is beautiful, well kept, nice to have several bathrooms for a larger group, and all the amenities we needed were available to us. The backyard was so enjoyable and private. We had a question regarding the WiFi password and Cynthia responded to our text within minutes. We were so impressed with our experience as it was our first rental and we will absolutely look to rent in the future. Thank you for everything!

Cynthia was so thoughtful to allow us to keep our bags safe before and after check in/out so we could enjoy Nantucket town. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable, and conveniently located! We loved every minute of our time there. Cynthia replied to our texts very quickly and we appreciated that very much. All of us agreed that the choice of this beautiful house was a good one for our first time in Nantucket! We walked all over the old town and took the bus to see other sights that we couldn’t walk to. Having 2 and 1/2 baths made it so convenient for 5 women and the 4 bedrooms made us all feel very comfortable. We recommend this beautiful home very enthusiastically and look forward to returning in the future!

We enjoyed another wonderful stay at Cynthia’s this summer. Our family of four (with two small children) along with both sets of grandparents were all delighted with our stay. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and charming. The location really can’t be beat, with a ten-minute stroll into town, an easy drive to several beaches, and a bakery, convenience store, and coffee shop within just a couple minutes walk. The backyard and deck were fantastic for sitting out and relaxing after a day at the beach. The kids loved watching the bunnies hop about! The air conditioning was much appreciated during a very humid week on Nantucket, and we all slept comfortably. Cynthia is a kind and responsive homeowner, and we look forward to coming back year after year! Crossing my fingers that we’ll be able to swing two weeks one of these years!
