An excellent in-town location, ''Mill View'' is an adorable cottage just a short walk to Main Street and close to beaches. A private bluestone deck with chaise lounges, outdoor dining table, gas grill and outdoor shower is surrounded by flowers and perrenial garden.The master bedroom suite has a king bed and full bath, and is raised a few steps from the living room. A queen sofabed is in the LR with half bath off the living room. Dining area has a cathedral ceiling and table that seats four. Full sized washer/dryer, stereo,CD player, VCR/DVD, and other high end amenities. There is private off-street parking. The cottage has central air-conditioning and is furnished with ''country living'' decor and typical Nantucket character. Great location for walking or biking to all parts of the island, and terrific views of the windmill! Five minute walk to town, shopping, restaurants.

    Beautiful Cottage

    Just left this cottage over the weekend. I was sad to lave, as it was very beautiful and in a GREAT location. Owners are very nice and friendly. I would stay there again. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay in Nantucket.

    Quintessential Nantucket Charm

    My husband and I just returned from a stay at this charming, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained cottage. The vaulted ceilings and bedroom several steps above the living area provide an expansive, open feeling. Amenities include a garage for bike/golf club storage, a washer/dryer, and an outdoor shower. We loved having breakfast on the private patio just off the bedroom. The location is ideal -- it is in a very quiet and private neighborhood and yet only a quick 10-minute walk to town. We did not miss having a car at all.

    The homeowners live nearby and couldn't have been more thoughtful and helpful. We would absolutely return to this beautifully appointed cottage.

    We are long time Nantucket residents and will be on island for your rental stay. We are available for questions and any issues that may come up. Our personal attention to each guest and rental stay keeps our properties in excellent shape throughout the rental season.

    What is special about this property?
    This property has the advantage of being a short walk to Main Street and out of the crowded streets of town. The privacy of this in-town home is rare. Its a lovely property enjoyed by repeat families over the years.
