Forged in the fiery crucible of the hurly-burly, make-you-or-break-you Providence street corner Doo-Wop scene in the latter days of 2002, A Cappella Gold consists of lead singer Rick Wright, bass Bruce Dearnaley, tenor Brian Dill, and baritone Steve Barrett. They have collectively sung with many groups, including Narragansett Bay Chorus, Three Wrights and a Wrong, The Nylons, Rockapella, The Boston Common, The Hudsons, Uproar, Ocean State Chorus, Street Corner Four, and Quartet.com. Average Joes from New Hampshire has performed since 2008: tenor Eric Ruthenberg, lead singer Matt Mercier, baritone Marc Rosenbaum, and bass Kirk Young have collectively sung with the Mighty, Mighty Coachmen, Sing City, Inside Track, Nashua Granite Statesmen, the Skidmore Bandersnatchers, the Multi-Colored Ties, and The Management. Born in the fires of the Sounds of Concord Chorus, Downtown Crossing is a youthful quartet dedicated to bringing fun and energy to barbershop music.
