About Bringing the Whaling Museum Home Join us for The Hunt LIVE...Mix up your favorite cocktail or mock tail and enjoy a story that has been told since the 1930s, when retired whaling captain George Grant became the first "custodian" of the Whaling Museum and shared his first-hand whaling experiences with museum visitors. That began a long-standing tradition of telling this same story, passed down to each new generation of museum interpreters. This 2020 version of The Hunt has been updated to tell the story of a whaling voyage aboard the whaleship Edward Cary, 1854-58.



The 20-minute presentation will be followed by 10 minutes of Q&A and comments.
