The Sandwich Glass Museum is featuring the cosmic and awe inspiring artistry of Josh Simpson in our Center Gallery from May 31st through October 31st, 2025. Josh and his wife, retired NASA astronaut Cady Coleman, will be signing books and giving a joint presentation on May 31 5:30-7:30pm.

In their slide talk "The Interplay of Science, Art, and Exploration in the Lives of Glass Artist Josh Simpson and Astronaut Cady Coleman", Josh Simpson and Cady Coleman discuss the intersection of science, art, and exploration in their lives. Josh shares how his original glass sculptures are fueled by his deep fascination with astrophysics and the mysteries of the universe, while Cady shares her experiences as an astronaut-scientist aboard the International Space Station. Together, their distinct pursuits—creation of art and exploration of space– enrich both of their journeys.
