About Dennis Port Block Party...Dennis Port Merchants Association Celebrates Continued Growth and Success with Block Party June 27 Sponsored by Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank.

Dennis Port, MA - - Recently presented the 2015 Beatification Award by the Dennis Chamber of Commerce, the Dennis Port Merchants Association (DPMA) is hosting their Bi-Annual Block Party Saturday June 27th to ring in the summer season with the local community. The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank is the top sponsor.

The transformation over the past several years has been remarkable and we are looking forward to being part of a wonderful event.” said Kevin Howard, Director of Marketing and Community Engagement.

Peruse the sidewalk sales and pop in to local shops like Porter & Mags or grab a T shirt at Another Love. For art lovers there will be new work on display at de Castellane Gallery and Faces Gallery. Be sure to check out the vendor tents and grab dinner at one of the many restaurants in town like The Red Nun, or stroll down to The Oyster Co. for some fresh oysters and a martini. Undercover Brothers food truck will be serving local pig and fish tacos and ceviche. Delmar from The Claddagh will be grilling up jerk chicken and pork, and the Surf Shack will be serving “Improper” (and oversized) lobster rolls.

Auntie’s Ice Cream is giving away 100 Itsy Bitsy ice cream cones to the first 100 people through the door beginning at 1pm. Auntie’s will also have “How Well Do You Know Dennis” trivia throughout the day and will be offering prizes for those in the know.

The Red Nun Beer Garden will be pouring beer from Dennis’ own brewery, Devil’s Purse, from 3-6pm in the lot behind The Nun. (fee)

James Rice will be performing Blues, Folk and Americana at 2pm in the Pocket Park

• Monica Rizzio and Old Kings Highway take the main stage at 3:30pm

Funktapuss takes over at 4:30 PM and will be performing Jazz, Hip Hop, Soul...and oh yeah…FUNK until 6 PM

Dunk Tank - 1pm near the Pocket Park. Dunk Don the Mayor of Dennis Port for free or dunk your friends. 3 tries for $5.

Pottery Painting for Kids - 2pm. Location to be announced.

Outdoor Ping Pong - at Greg Mentzer Studio.

Sounding Through Your Asana workshop with local singer/songwriter Alicia Mathewson and yoga teacher Kristen O’Toole at Power Yoga of Cape Cod From 1:30-3:30 $40. Free yoga demonstration 2-3 PM.

Pupcasso Art for Dogs - 2:30pm at Hot Diggity Dog Wash & Boutique. Hot Diggity will also be giving away free treat bags to the first 25 dogs who create their own art.

Classic Cars - 1PM in the Mid Cape Garage parking lot.

50/50 Raffle tickets will be sold at the DPMA booth. Proceeds go towards downtown Dennis Port improvements and CapeAbilities.

Henna booth -Natural, temporary, freehand henna body art. Traditional and original designs last from 1-3 weeks. (fee)

Organic Market will be giving away free small bags of Late July chips throughout the event.
