About Grammy Winning Cellist, Singer & Composer Mike Block to Perform at Sandwich Town Hall...The Village Concert Series brought to you by the Sandwich Arts Alliance presents Mike Block, pioneering cellist, singer and composer who will be performing at Sandwich Town Hall on Friday, February 8th at 7 pm. Hailed by Yo-Yo Ma as the “ideal musician of the 21st century” and acclaimed by the NY Times for his "vital rich-hued solo playing," Block's solo performances offer a provocative mixture of core classical repertoire with original compositions.
