About Marconi-RCA Wireless Museum is Open for April Break Week...Step inside the 1914 operating building constructed by the Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company of America. It's 11 foot ceilings and large windows frame dioramas, vintage radio receivers, transmitters and teletype machines. Under the Radio Corporation of America (RCA), Chatham Radio was "the World's Greatest Coastal Station" for over 70 years. Explore the marvel of wireless Morse Code telegraphy that made it possible. Enjoy the "Golden Age of Tran-Atlantic Ocean Liners" exhibit about famous ships that the station served. Chatham was the Navy's secret "Station C" during World War II, intercepting encrypted messages from German U-Boats. Enigma cipher machine simulators help visitors understand this critical task. Browse the Museum Shop and walk the Antenna Field Trail to complete your visit to the Museum. And always, members visit with free admission.
