About McDermott Glass Studio...For over 18 years master glassblowers David McDermott and his wife Yukimi Matsumoto and their team have been producing magnificent glass that has been displayed in hundreds of galleries across the country, as well as the Metropolitan Musem of Art in New York City, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the Sandwich Glass Museum.

The tight-knit team, that also includes Isabel Green and Peter Waechter, produces distinctive glass in a collaborative and synchronized way. Born in McDermott's style is the disciplined "Scottish glassblowing technique" learned at a young age by master glassblower Robert Mason.
