About Plein Air Nantucket...Artists Association of Nantucket (AAN) is pleased to host the annual Plein Air Nantucket, a plein air painting festival in its 12th year. Running from Tuesday, June 13 to Sunday, June 18, the festival is open to all outdoor painters. It will conclude with a reception and presentation of the Frank Swift Chase Awards on Sunday, June 18, 5 P.M. at the Big Gallery, upstairs at 12 Straight Wharf. Plein Air Nantucket is open to all artists, at any skill level, who wish to paint pristine scenery and enjoy the camaraderie of painting with peers. There is no fee to participate or attend.
