About Sandwich Porch Fest 2018...For the third year in a row, the main streets of Sandwich Village will come alive with the sound of local musicians performing on the porches of downtown homes and businesses as the Sandwich Arts Alliance presents Porch Fest 2018, Sunday afternoon, October 7th from 1 to 4 (rain date, Monday October 8th). Take a leisurely walk through historic Sandwich while sampling the many acoustic acts along the way at this free, family-friendly event.
Following the individual porch sessions, all the musicians will come together for the “Last Porch”, an open-mic style finale from 5 to 6 PM on the Sandwich Public Library's lawn.
Organized for the Sandwich Arts Alliance by singer/songwriter and founder of Sandwich Porch Fest Kim Moberg, along with June Bowser-Barrett, the event features an eclectic group of musicians covering a range of genres from blues, pop and jazz to oldies, folk, country and Irish jigs and reels.
