About Tips for Writers Seeking to Publish...Are you on the verge of completing the Great American Novel? On Thursday, May 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Sandwich Public Library, the Sandwich Arts Alliance will offer an evening of help for authors seeking to publish, featuring professionals in the publishing world.

Pete Schiffer, President of Schiffer Publishing Ltd., along with Director of Marketing Jamie Elfrank and Managing Editor Jesse Marth, will lead a discussion on three key topics: Working with a publishing team to take raw materials and create a finished publication (editing, design, and production); the author’s role in the proper execution of a market plan, including the sales component, to get one's book into the hands of readers; and the channels of distribution available for your work.

The event allows ample time for audience questions and one-on-one talks with the speakers. Light refreshments will be served.
