About Tuesday Talks: Four Extraordinary Women of the American Revolution...You're invited to hear award-winning author Nancy Rubin Stuart's lively talk and slide presentation about several extraordinary but often forgotten women of the American Revolution. These include Deborah Read Franklin, the inventor's wife; Mercy Otis Warren, whose plays helped sparked the Revolution; the patriotic Lucy Flucker, wife of General Henry Knox and the beautiful Philadelphia belle, Peggy Shippen, wife of Benedict Arnold. After the talk you'll understand how these powerful women helped change the course of history. A book signing and sale is included.

This lecture will take place on-site in the Mural Barn at the Atwood Museum.
