Your Listing Rating is one of the key factors that determines where your home appears in search results—the higher your rating, the more visibility your listing receives. A great place to start improving your rating is your Listing Quality Audit, available in your Homeowner Center.
The audit provides a quick, easy way to identify opportunities to strengthen your listing. It looks at measurable factors such as your inquiry Response Time and Response Rate, how recently your calendar has been updated, your photos and captions, guest reviews, and your availability and pricing. Best of all, the recommendations are tailored specifically to your listing, with practical tips to help you market your home more effectively.
While the audit is a valuable tool, it can’t evaluate more subjective elements—like the overall quality or appeal of your photos. Have you included images of nearby attractions, like the beach, or inviting shots of your outdoor space? That said, it does assess important technical details, such as whether your photos are properly sized, displayed in landscape format, and supported by clear, informative captions.
The audit may also highlight helpful features you haven’t yet used. One of the most effective is the About the Owner section, which gives you a chance to connect with vacationers on a more personal level. It’s a great place to share your enthusiasm for your home and what makes it special—something that goes beyond a standard property description.
