Beautiful Bayside Home Short Walk to Crosby Landing Beach

We experienced the best beach vacation at this home! The house was beautiful and impeccable. It was outfitted with everything we needed and a short walk to Crosby Landing. Fran and Paul were so accommodating and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their lovely home.

This rental made our Cape Cod holiday magical. It is a lovely, comfortable, well cared for home. We enjoyed the yard, bbq for smores, sunroom to eat and game in. It was close to stores, restaurants and beaches. Thanks to our hosts. Definitely a "do again"!!!

We stayed here in the early part of the summer season. Very spacious house for four adults and one three year old. Could fit more, but we liked being able to spread out a bit. Homeowner was very accommodating--I called about a basement door that wasn't closing correctly, and he was at the house with a screwdriver within the hour.

Best part is the location--walkable to Crosby Landing Beach, which was perfect for our son, very calm, not too crowded, very beautiful, and a short distance to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. In fact it's walkable to a bike rental place in Nickerson State Park, where I went on the first day and rented a bike for $80 for the week. Probably about a 60-second ride up the road got me on the trail.

Master bath is updated beautifully. Second bath and the kitchen could use some updates, but they're clean. Our favorite gathering space was the enclosed porch off the kitchen. We ate all our meals in there. Nice large-screen TV in the main room, although we didn't watch a lot of TV.

House felt a little musty on the first night, but I think we were the first guests of the season, and the place aired out nicely after the first day or so. There's technically another bedroom in the basement (a pull-out couch is down there), but I wouldn't recommend sleeping down there, as it felt a little damp and musty in the basement. But even without that, there's room for six adults and a few kids, if you have that many in your party. A trundle bed in the back bedroom was perfect for my son.

We stayed at this home for a week at the beginning of the summer. The property was extremely clean and very generous in size. The three bedrooms were very spacious as well as the rest of the house. We have three children so a decent amount of space was very important to us. The main floor was plenty big and then you go downstairs and there is another entire area for the kids to play, watch tv...

The second best part of the home for us was the location to the beach. The beach was right at the end of the street. We either walked or biked there each time. Also the Cape Cod Rail Trail was only about 1500 feet away. We were able to enjoy both biking and the beach with the location of the house. The owner was very accommodating. We booked last minute and she made sure everything was in order and ready for us when we arrived. show more show less
