In World War II, the Coast Guard used the house as a lookout. For look out it does: Across Wasque Point to the lower end of Katama Bay, across the sand dunes to the Atlantic, and on a clear day, from the fourth story observatory tower, the neighboring island of Nantucket.
The house also looks out over a tennis court and a private beach. All this surrounded by about five acres. Appropriately, this estate is called Wasque Watch.
