Our family of six (and one dog) stayed for a week this summer. Everything about renting here was perfect. Carole communicated promptly and clearly when we booked, before we arrived, and before we departed. It made the week very enjoyable because we knew we could get in touch if needed. But we didn't need anything because the home is lovely. It was was very, very clean when we arrived and everything is in great condition. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. It is deceptively big - we had plenty of room to be together for meals or hanging out, and there's enough space to spread as desired. We used the bunk house, too. We adore Paines Creek, and being that close meant we would walk down early morning, mid-day or later afternoon/early evening (before the bugs come out at the beach). The location is also great for walking to Kate"s. We can't wait to return next year!

We loved our stay here. The house is an easy walk to the beach or to Kate's for ice cream. The owners responded quickly to a question I had. The house was clean and comfortable for our family of four.

Loved our first trip to Cape cod, beautiful and charming house, only minutes away from beautiful beach. Loved the area, clean and easy access to shops and groceries. John and Carole made our stay easy, super friendly and accommodating, great couple to work with. Great location to travel around to other Cape cod areas and beaches.

We stayed for a week at John and Carole's house and had a wonderful time. They were helpful and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach for daily beach days and highly sunsets, the proximity to kate's, and the open living space to be able to spend time with family. The back yard was like a private oasis! Thank you-we hope to be back!!!

We all enjoyed our stay at your rental during the last two weeks in June. The first week was occupied by my 3 women friends and I. We were attending a wedding just down the street. The bright openness of the kitchen, dining, and sitting area really suited us. The natural landscaping was lovely and we oohed and aahed at the dogwood from the sitting area and patio. Before arriving, someone bemoaned the fact of a single bathroom but that did not turn out to be an issue. The location of the property was ideal as it is walking distance to the beach. Our group loves to walk so the Brewster flats at low tide was heavenly. Also, the short drives to Sesuit Harbor Café, cute Brewster shops, and grocery stores left us more time to enjoy our outings. My son, daughter, and grandchildren visited the second week and they loved the house and cabin and especially the outdoor shower. Again, the nearness of the beach kept them busy all day. The provided boogie boards, wagon, and toys were much appreciated. Several wedding guests were staying in neighborhood at various rentals. I visited three others and I have to say I would rent yours again in a heartbeat. Thank you for allowing me to rent your property and also for your quick responses whenever I had a question.

My husband and I spent a week in this delightful magical spot. Close to the beach, hiking trails and shops if that's your thing. House had everything we needed and the gardens are lovely. We hope to return again !

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was very comfortable and spacious and has a nice outdoor area. The house is perfectly close to the beach, an easy few minute walk. Paine's Creek beach is such a fun beach. At low tide it is perfect for walking and looking for shells/sea creatures and high tide for floating! The owners were super flexible and accommodating, definitely hope to return!

Beautiful property and great location. Our first time to Cape Cod and we had a wonderful time! The owners were wonderful to work with and so flexible with our date change.

My kids loved the beach being so close. My husband was happy we could walk there! Win-win for me!!

The property is gorgeous. The flowers were in full bloom during our stay and sitting out front with a cup of coffee was just serene. There are the cutest little pockets of nature and benches for you to sit on to just relax! I have pictures I wish I could post!!

The location is so so perfect. I loved walking down to the beach from our house early in the morning and later in the evening. The beach is so good you won't have a desire to go to any others. SOOOOOOO perfect for kids when the tide is out. GO watch the sunsets, people drive from all over to watch the sunsets and you can just walk!!

The town of Brewster is adorable and everyone is so stinking friendly!! We found a great spot in Dennis for meals right on the water- perfect cape cod experience. It is called Sesuit Harbor Cafe!

Go and explore and have the best time ever!

Also- I had a house kids of teens with me and the one bathroom was never an issue!!

This house is a gem! 600 steps from the Bay with incredible sunsets, swimming, and walks in the soft sand. The home is comfortable and roomy. The home accommodated our family of 5 with ease and we were able to bring our beloved dog! The homeowners were incredibly kind and helpful. Communicating with them was easy and positive. House was clean when we arrived and it is completely furnished to make for a very easy vacation!!!

My husband and I along with our Lil' Koko, our sweet terrier mix, were fortunate to stay at Carole and John's beautiful and comfortable cottage by the spectacular Brewster Bay. Any day you can walk the bay at low tide is a wonderful day, which I did almost every day during our stay. My husband, an avid swimmer, swam in the bay every day at high tide. The beach is literally steps away from the cottage. The cottage had everything we needed including a private outdoor shower, which we used exclusively. Nothing is more refreshing after a day at the beach than an outside shower. Despite Covid-19, we found the cottage and its location safe and calming. There were bunnies in the yard and a backyard patio to sip a glass of wine and watch them hopping about while reading or grilling. Nearby are a fish market, artisan pizza restaurant, taco stand, bakeries, Brewster General Store, and one of my favorite places, the Brewster Bookstore. Our daughter and her family rented the cottage after we left and returned home as we did - relaxed despite all that is going on in our world today and more than satisfied with all this enchanting cottage by the bay has to offer. In closing, I need to add that Carole and John are thoughtful and responsive owners. Thank you both - Mark and Patricia

Great house! Very comfortable and well stocked. It was very clean upon our arrival. I've had issues with pet friendly homes in the past (it can seem standards aren't as high, but that wasn't the case here). The owners were very responsive to our questions before and after arrival.

The beach was perfect for little kids. It was a very short walk away, and no dunes to trek over. We did buy the town beach pass but that was a waste of money since we never ended up wanting to drive elsewhere when the beach at the end of the street was so nice.

Our favorite restaurants nearby were Kate's, Captain Frosty's, Stone L'Oven Pizza, and Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters (where they carry Pain D'Avignon pastries).

We had a great stay, and it's a perfect location for activities and beaches. Thanks Carole and John!

Carole's home is very comfortable in a great location! Carole was very responsive during the planning and check-in process! Air conditioners made for a comfortable, relaxing environment after a hot day at the beach. We enjoyed the nice shady deck in the backyard with table, chairs and grille. Paine's Creek Beach is a very short walk down the street and is perfect for kayaking and paddle-boarding. At the other end of the street is Kate's Seafood, Luke's Liquors and Dunkin' Donuts. Pulling down the driveway, my wife and I were a little underwhelmed by the outside of the house but the inside was just what we needed! Overall this is an excellent spot close to the beach and all of Brewster's charm.

The property was a pleasant surprise and provided more room than anticipated, particularly when you first see the photos. The main area had an open design and could accommodate a good number of people inside if needed, yet having easy access to the patio area. The kitchen was well equipped with a nice coffee maker and good appliances, and a nice Weber gas grill was put to good use. AC units and fans in key locations worked well to cool the property as needed. The property can sleep 10 as advertised, but having only one full bath can slow things down with that many people (the one downside of the property). However, the outdoor shower worked well and was great to have.

Access to Paine's Creek Beach was a simple stroll away and allowed for easy access for kayaking. Beaches such as Mant's Landing were a manageable walk, or a quick drive was also an easy alternative. Also, it was great having Kate's Seafood just a short walk away, as was Dunkin and Luke's as needed. Overall, the property was a great choice for a week long rental and it was nice to be off the "beaten path" off of 6A.

The home was extremely clean and comfortable. The home has several skylights that offer a ton of natural light, the carpeting was clean (not damp like other rentals). If your a coffee lover, you will appreciated their special coffee maker. Bring your favorite fresh ground beans and enjoy. The kitchen was well appointed and easy to prepare meals with plenty of space to move about without feeling crowded. We enjoyed the short walk (less than 5 min) to the bayside beach to enjoy the majestic sunsets. This is a home you will want to return to on your next vacation.
