A Sydenstricker cottage built in 1969 but fully updated to preserve its period charm, the cottage features 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, an outdoor shower, plus a separate, adorable, free standing couple’s cottage or kids bunkhouse with electricity. The living room has extra sleeping space for 2. The great room looks out over wooded conservation land. The kitchen is fully modernized with an adjoining dining room.

Best yet, it’s a short walk to a beautiful Brewster Bay beach, so no parking hassles and gorgeous sunsets. Walk to Kate’s and Sparky’s Hayrides, Lemon Tree Village. Bicycle on Lower Road to downtown Brewster and the General Store.

A new state lodging tax of 14.45% is required on all rentals beginning after July 1. Book for July 4, with no tax. We have adjusted rental rates to reflect the Commonwealth's eleventh hour imposition of this tax in late December 2018.

We've been taking big family vacations in Brewster for more than twenty years, and have finally purchased our own family sized property. We're still decorating and making it our own, filling it with our favorite things.

What is special about this property?
This is our dream home, in our absolutely favorite town, and near our absolutely favorite beach on Cape Cod. We love taking early morning walks on the Brewster Flats, and watching the most gorgeous sunsets we've ever seen. And we'd love to welcome you to enjoy a week in this historic, fully renovated cottage.

What is special about your town?
Brewster is quaint, historic and all the bay beaches are easily accessible. At low tide, you can walk out on about two miles onto the Brewster Flats. Explore the tide pools, see oyster farmers at work, cast a line or skim board. And at high tide, kayak, use your SUP, snorkel or just enjoy the beautiful panorama. Our home is steps from Paine's Creek Beach, famous for its ''lazy river'' and a favorite of kids and families.
