Walk to beach from coveted Paine's Creek neighborhood

We had the best time at this gorgeous beach cottage. It's as beautiful as it is comfortable, with plenty of room for two families to spread out and relax. We loved both the lower and upper decks for meals by the marsh, and firefly watching at night. The dining room table was large enough to fit everyone for a lobster feast, with great views through the wall of windows. We loved our family game nights and movie nights in the living room, the kitchen was well equipped, and each bedroom was comfortable and well furnished.

The location is ideal, set in a quiet neighborhood that's a short walk to Kate's for seafood and ice cream or to Paine's Creek for swimming, exploring, and the best sunset views on the Cape. This is our second year renting this home, and we're excited to come back again! show more show less

The pictures don't do justice to the views and location. The backyard looks out over an expansive marsh that feeds the bay. At night in June and July, fireflies light up the sky. The house is a quick walk or bike ride to Paine's Creek, the most picturesque beach in Brewster, and it's only a little further to two other nice bay beaches, Robbins Hill and Saint's Landing. You're also a short walk around the corner from Kate's Seafood, which has both great fried seafood and the best ice cream in Brewster.

As for the house itself, it has good-sized common areas, a great master bedroom and bathroom (with dual sink vanity), just about everything is well-maintained, and the full-house A/C is a lifesaver during muggy days. The backyard patio is large and new and completely private, with a marsh on one side and trees or structures blocking views from other sides. The observation deck (shown in pictures) is set on the roof of the house and provides the views of the marsh and the bay.
