A superb family getaway in a beautiful part of Cape Cod!

We had an excellent two weeks here in Karleen's home. From the moment we connected with Karleen, she was kind, communicative, and did everything she could to give us a great stay. She even found a pack and play and a high chair for our toddler to use! Karleen went above and beyond to offer ideas for activities, nearby restaurants and shopping, and more.

Our check in was easy, and when we got to the house, everything was SUPER clean and ready for us to arrive. The space is bright and welcoming, and the living room has that high, beautiful wood ceiling which is warm and open. The A/C units in the rooms worked really well to keep us cool at night, and I loved using the sun room as my "office" for a few days I had to work while there. The brand-new outdoor shower was a real treat, and I enjoyed my morning coffee under the pergola most days.

The location is great. It's on a main street, but it's not a particularly busy one as this part of Brewster is a bit of a hidden gem. Quiet area, but still SUPER close to things you will need - groceries, a great little coffee shop, and of course, the biking, hiking, walking and running trails of gorgeous Nickerson State Park. We also made a trip up to Truro/Welfleet one day, and spend some time down in Hyannis -- this was a great, central location for day trips all over the Cape. There is also a gym not far away, a couple of nice spas, and loads of restaurants.

We had a great experience staying in Brewster with Karleen, and we would LOVE to come back again!

This house had a lovely, open floor plan. It was clean, appeared to have been recently updated, and modern. The decor was beautiful, and it felt like a home away from home. We were greeted with a fresh floral bouquet and some delightful chocolates. The beds were very comfortable and the blankets were exceptionally plush. Granite countertops throughout with modern furniture. Pack your own towels, sheets, and pillow cases. Two bathrooms, so yay! Perfect for sharing with another family. />01/10/2021 at 6:59 PM

Our stay was amazing. The house is newly renovated, beautifully decorated, well appointed and spotless. Every amenity we could ask for was provided. Karleen is an amazing artist and the house reflected her great style - warm, colorful and tasteful. It really is a beautiful space. The house is located on Route 124 which is a little noisy from traffic but not terrible. We didn't mind it one bit. The layout of the house is perfect with the master bedroom suite on one side of the house and the two guest bedrooms on the other side. I would highly recommend this house to others. It is very convenient to Brewster, Orleans and Chatham. Jim and Karleen are super hosts - very caring and highly responsive.

Comfort and relaxation

We stayed 7 nights and had a most relaxing time. Super comfortable beds and well appointed living and dining areas made this a very comfortable place to stay. We loved the Apt restaurant for breakfast and enjoyed our walks and hikes along nearby trails.

My husband and I have been renting vacation homes through WeNeedaVacation for 10 years! After exploring what all Cape Cod has to offer, we decided to buy our own place using what we liked and didn't like about the places we stayed in. Having comfortable mattresses topped our list, but also easy access to water, trails and shopping was just as important. We are both in education and know how important it is for a family or individual to have the summer to refresh and rejuvenate. We think we found the perfect place for that with our barn wood cathedral ceilings and grapevine covered pergola where our family can enjoy being indoor or outdoor for a meal or conversation. We hope you will agree!

What is special about this property?
We love the spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of room to get around, and the barn wood cathedral ceiling in the main area. Even though it is cozy it doesn't feel cramped or tight. The spacious backyard with the grapevine covered pergola, reminds me of meals I had in Italy so long ago with wine and friends in conversation for hours around the table. I love the mature oak trees and shade garden that are back there as well with plenty of room to play any number of games with our kids and grand kids.

What is special about your town?
Brewster has so much charm, starting with the General Store that dates back to the early 1900's. Walking there is just lovely, with so much to see along the way and places to stop like the ''Seaman's Thrift Store'' and the Farm stand. With so many kettle ponds to choose from in Brewster having the Sand Pond a little over a mile away is a delight to kayak, swim and fish and some of the most scenic parts of the bike trail are right there in Brewster! Hop on the trail one minute from our house! Everything on the Cape is easy to access from where our house sits. We are 40 minutes from Provincetown and 40 from Sandwich and getting on 6A to do in either direction is just a quick 3 miles up the road!
