We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful home, and it exceeded all our expectations! The location was perfect, offering convenience and accessibility to all the local attractions we wanted to visit. The home itself was well appointed, with every amenity thoughtfully provided to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Communication with the renter was seamless and efficient. They were responsive, friendly, and made sure all our needs were met promptly. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay.

We stayed here for a girls weekend. It is a lovely home with all the necessary amenities. It was so close to the places we wanted to visit. We are looking forward to staying here again!

This was our second winter visit to Escape Away. The home is cute and comfortable, a plus being that we could bring our small dog. The location is convenient to both 6 and 6A, several Brewster beaches, the Brewster store, and several restaurants. I can imagine that the yard is a big plus in the summer with the ability to hang out and have small fires. Karleen is a great host. We had no issues and would stay again!

This was a great home base for a long weekend with a family wedding at wequasset resort. We visited in early November, so definitely off-season. Despite being on a main road, we found our stay to be quiet. The cottage had all of the basics we needed for my husband, baby, mother in law and I to stay. The bunk room had just enough space to squeeze in the pack & play for my baby. That & the room next door were quite warm with the heat, while the primary bed & bath were cold. The house had a very effective space heater to use in the primary bedroom to make up for this. This was a convenient jumping off point to drive from Ptown to Chatham to explore. The host was super communicative & responsive before and during our stay, which was appreciated!

Brewster house was perfect for our needs. Clean, well provisioned, great location and attentive owners. Which is why we have booked it again twice for 2024. And hope to continue doing so.

My family has vacationed on the Cape for over 40 years. This cottage was wonderful. Karleen is an exceptional host. From our first contact she was great. The cottage is located on a lovely property with a private backyard and plenty of room to play. The cottage is well equipped, clean and easy to keep tidy (saying a lot with three grandchildren). We look forward to staying at Escape Away again.

Karleen was an absolute gem to work with! The house was perfect for our two families with beautiful decor. The mattresses in the bunk bed rooms were SO comfortable- I wanted to kick my daughters out of there lol! The location of the house is also very centrally located to everything that we wanted to do! We had a wonderful week :)

After spending 50 years camping at the Cape during the summer, we chose this lovely cottage to stay in for a week. It was a perfect location, close to all sorts of goodies. Some of the suggested places we had already been to and others were new to us.
The cottage was plenty big for the four of us and could have easily take more people. Nice yard for our grandson and daughter to play lacrosse and kick a ball around.
It was furnished with lots of extras which made it so much easier!

We booked this house for a much needed getaway over April vacation with the kids, a couple of their friends and our dog. The whole process was easy and enjoyable. Karleen was extremely communicative and helpful in every way. The house is in a great location - close all the great things to see, do and eat! We loved the art on the walls so much that my husband purchased a piece for my mother's day gift before we left. The property had a great layout, fit everyone comfortably and well appointed for staying in if preferred. Would love to come back some day.

The home is centrally located, near beaches, bike path, markets, restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped for eating in and the decor contributes to a relaxing stay. Great location for our dog as well as we could take neighborhood walks from house. AC units in bedrooms actually kept the entire house comfortable during a warm spell. House is on a main road as mentioned in another review.

We had a lovely off-season getaway in this clean and cozy cottage. Great vibe, new furniture, excellent beds and bedding and even a firepit out back for our use. We cooked in the well-stocked kitchen, watched movies on the telly and shopped in the local stores. Conveniently located near the bike trail and the big kettle ponds. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent two weeks here in Karleen's home. From the moment we connected with Karleen, she was kind, communicative, and did everything she could to give us a great stay. She even found a pack and play and a high chair for our toddler to use! Karleen went above and beyond to offer ideas for activities, nearby restaurants and shopping, and more.

Our check in was easy, and when we got to the house, everything was SUPER clean and ready for us to arrive. The space is bright and welcoming, and the living room has that high, beautiful wood ceiling which is warm and open. The A/C units in the rooms worked really well to keep us cool at night, and I loved using the sun room as my "office" for a few days I had to work while there. The brand-new outdoor shower was a real treat, and I enjoyed my morning coffee under the pergola most days.

The location is great. It's on a main street, but it's not a particularly busy one as this part of Brewster is a bit of a hidden gem. Quiet area, but still SUPER close to things you will need - groceries, a great little coffee shop, and of course, the biking, hiking, walking and running trails of gorgeous Nickerson State Park. We also made a trip up to Truro/Welfleet one day, and spend some time down in Hyannis -- this was a great, central location for day trips all over the Cape. There is also a gym not far away, a couple of nice spas, and loads of restaurants.

We had a great experience staying in Brewster with Karleen, and we would LOVE to come back again!

This house had a lovely, open floor plan. It was clean, appeared to have been recently updated, and modern. The decor was beautiful, and it felt like a home away from home. We were greeted with a fresh floral bouquet and some delightful chocolates. The beds were very comfortable and the blankets were exceptionally plush. Granite countertops throughout with modern furniture. Pack your own towels, sheets, and pillow cases. Two bathrooms, so yay! Perfect for sharing with another family.

The home is lovely! It was immaculate and nicely appointed. The beds were so comfy too. The location was very central to all Cape activities. The yard is very nice, and the neighborhood next to the house is nice for walking. We enjoyed our stay!!

Our stay was amazing. The house is newly renovated, beautifully decorated, well appointed and spotless. Every amenity we could ask for was provided. Karleen is an amazing artist and the house reflected her great style - warm, colorful and tasteful. It really is a beautiful space. The house is located on Route 124 which is a little noisy from traffic but not terrible. We didn't mind it one bit. The layout of the house is perfect with the master bedroom suite on one side of the house and the two guest bedrooms on the other side. I would highly recommend this house to others. It is very convenient to Brewster, Orleans and Chatham. Jim and Karleen are super hosts - very caring and highly responsive.

We stayed 7 nights and had a most relaxing time. Super comfortable beds and well appointed living and dining areas made this a very comfortable place to stay. We loved the Apt restaurant for breakfast and enjoyed our walks and hikes along nearby trails.
