This home is bright, spacious throughout, and carefully maintained and decorated to provide a comfortable and carefree vacation. It also provides three levels of living space to explore and enjoy, as well as four separate sleeping areas.
Street Level: The ''street'' level floor includes the living room, dining room, kitchen, and a large bedroom (queen-sized bed and walk-in closet). The rooms are bright and airy, with gleaming white oak floors. The living room is furnished with comfortable stuffed couches for get-togethers, WiFi/internet TV, or just relaxing. Sliding glass doors lead from the living room to a spacious deck that is perfect for nights of outdoor cooking and dining while watching the brilliant sunsets above Cape Cod Bay. The dining room is framed by a high, slanted ceiling with skylights and a view of the large oak trees in the backyard. The maple table and chairs will seat at least eight. Adjacent to the dining room is the galley kitchen, which is well-stocked with spices, seasonings, and the many time-saving and practical items that help deliver a delicious meal. This main floor also has a bathroom with a shower that is accessible from both the bedroom and the main hallway.
Upstairs Level: Located upstairs is the master bedroom suite with a king-sized bed, TV, walk-in closet, and sliding glass doors to a deck overlooking the rolling lawns. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet with a dresser and a private bathroom with a tiled bathtub and shower. Enjoy the view from the deck that overlooks the small pond. All windows and the sliding doors in the master bedroom have room darkening shades for those who like to sleep late. There is also a smaller loft-like upstairs bedroom with two twin beds, a skylight, and a separate wall-mounted air-conditioner. The washing machine and dryer are located in a closed alcove between the two bedrooms.
Lower Level: The lower (basement) level has been recently renovated to provide new wooden floors and two separate living areas. The sleeping area/alcove is featured with a queen-sized bed and dresser. A separate, larger entertainment area with TV, puzzles, games/toys, and comfortable couches is at the opposite end of this level. Sliding glass doors lead to the large backyard for outdoor games.
The garage (directly in front of the house) is available to guests for storage and for the use of the house collection of beach chairs (at least 8), umbrellas, coolers, wagon, water and sand toys, and toy trucks and diggers.
Suggestions: For those who like to walk, there are many popular destinations just a brief walk away.
Coffee at the Snowy Owl (great coffee and gardens), muffins and other fresh baked goods at the Hopkins House Bakery, and ice cream (and much more) at JT's Seafood Restaurant are all within a fifteen-minute walk. The Ocean Terrace Restaurant (outdoor restaurant and bar with a panoramic view of the Bay) is just a short stroll away. For bicycle enthusiasts, a five-minute bike ride will bring you to the Cape Cod bike trail--a 25 mile paved Rail-Trail that travels along lakes, beaches, and natural woodlands.
