Description

Perfect for 2-3 families or wedding parties, this historic former inn has been lovingly restored. Sleeps 15 in 7 bedrooms with luxury linens, full amenities and 8 private bathrooms. The beds are incredibly comfortable, with feather toppers and blackout curtains in most rooms. There's a large porch and backyard with grill and fire pit, outdoor shower, beach accessories, tree swing, hammock, loungers and tables and chairs to relax in the incredible gardens or take a nap under the giant maple. Paine's Creek Beach is a 2-minute drive or 15-minute walk (with Kate's Seafood and Ice Cream on the way...).

Its 5 fireplaces, exposed beams, 200-year-old trees and 2-story barn highlight the unique history. At the same time, the historic Sea Captain's home has been fully modernized with central A/C and heat, a generator, fiber optic dedicated wifi throughout the property including the backyard, and TVs in every room.

The kitchen features a commercial 4-burner stove + griddle and extra-large oven, 2 full-size refrigerators as well as a separate freezer, a stand mixer, waffle maker and fully equipped pantry for cooking large family meals. A laundry room with 2 washers and dryers is at your disposal.

There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor: one with a Queen bed and en-suite bathroom; one with a King bed, fireplace and large private bath across the hall; and the third with a King bed; a twin pullout bed; a fireplace and a large private bath across the hall. Upstairs you'll find the game room and four more bedrooms: one with 2 Twin beds, a fireplace and a private bath across the hall; one with a King bed, skylight and large private bath across the hall; one with a Queen bed and en-suite bathroom; and one with a King bed and en-suite bathroom. Every bedroom is fully equipped with luxury linens, amenities, a ceiling fan and TV.

To hang out in the evening, there is a game room upstairs, as well as 2 living areas and a large supply of games and puzzles. If anyone in your group needs to work remotely, several rooms have desks and there is a quiet office at the front of the house; the entire property has dedicated fiber optic wifi.

We had the most amazing stay as an extended family of 14! We were three generations and all had ample space, privacy, and areas for group hang outs and dinners as a family in this home. We especially enjoyed lovely evenings playing in the peaceful backyard. Thank you for a wonderful stay Adrienne and we can't wait to return for another family reunion.

A great place for a vacation for a big family. A large quiet private backyard, large deck with tables and chairs, a big comfortable common room, game room, and a sitting room. Every bedroom had a dedicated bathroom. The kitchen had a complete set of pots & pans and utensils. Three (yes 3!) full size refrigerators. 2 washer/driers. The house was very clean and well provided. Adrienne was very responsive and helpful. If we decide to do another Cape Cod vacation, we will rent this house again.

Adrienne was incredibly accommodating and helpful. She was right on site which was helpful for the few questions that we had, but she otherwise let us enjoy our stay as 3 generations of family! The accommodations were perfect for a family reunion, including the designated bathrooms for each bedroom. The industrial kitchen was perfect for family meals!

I cannot say enough nice things about Adrienne's property. We were there for a week with a family of 15 covering 4 generations, including 5 young children. The house is lovely, old and charming but fully updated. It is located centrally for easy access to all of Cape Cod's attractions, especially, and importantly for us, several of the fabulous bay side beaches. The layout of the house was conducive to maintaining quiet for littles' nap times while the grownups could chat, cook, etc. Every room has a bathroom which is very comfortable! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more. The house comes with all beach equipment, linens, etc.; we did not have to bring anything but our personal things. Last but not least Adrienne is fabulously helpful and communicative; I never waited more than a few minutes for responses to my questions and she was extremely helpful and accommodating. We would happily stay again, and plan to!! Thank you, Adrienne! show more show less

We had a large group of people that stayed for a week. We were all very impressed by this beautiful old colonial home. From the lovely bedrooms each with their own bathroom (some en-suite) to the multiple gathering areas, to the large kitchen it was perfect. And there was much more. I hope we are able to return again for our family vacation.

Sea Meadow Inn is a well appointed lovely historic home. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time outside among all of the beautiful flowers. Many hours were spent on the tree swing, and we had lots of laughs around the fire on the cozy patio. The house was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. We love the location, right around the corner from Paines Creek Beach, Kate's Seafood, and the Brewster General store. It's also close to the biking trails. Adrienne and her husband were attentive, responsive hosts. We would definitely consider Sea Meadow Inn for another one of our annual family vacations! show more show less

The Sea Meadow Inn is amazing! The historic Inn nicely showcases the backbone of a 250 year old structure, yet possesses upgrades to the bathrooms, lighting and heating/cooling system that provides all the necessary comforts. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with a walk-in pantry and an abundance of dishes, glasses and cooking items that easily served our family of 14. Every bedroom is unique, beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds. The grounds are gorgeous and were large enough to allow our family of all ages to play yard games and enjoy the outdoors on a beautiful deck and patio. Adrienne was the perfect host, always responsive and willing to provide information when requested. Overall, the Inn and its grounds were prefect for our large family gathering. We would not hesitate to return. show more show less

I grew up in Connecticut, and love sharing the beauty of New England with visitors, whether it's your first time or you come every summer. This house is our family's oasis, and we are happy to have other families create their own lasting memories in it. We live in a small cottage at the back of the property, and you may occasionally see me, my husband and teenage daughter gardening or enjoying the sunset. Feel free to say hi and ask for tips; otherwise we will leave you alone and give you privacy while you're on vacation.

What is special about this property?
Built in the 1780s, this historic Sea Captain's home was lovingly restored in the 1980s and converted into a luxury Bed and Breakfast. You will signs of its historic legacy in the 5 fireplaces, exposed original beams, wide pumpkin pine plank floors and barn, while enjoying all of the modern comforts of a luxury hotel - from the linens and top of the line beds to individual bathrooms and full amenities, including beach accessories, yard games, and a fully equipped kitchen.

What is special about your town?
Brewster is well known for its conservation efforts, characterized by hundreds of kettle ponds, abundant wildlife and clean drinking water, among others. It is conveniently located on Rte 6A between Dennis and Orleans, with a quaint personality and easy access to all of the attractions and services.
