A piece of paradise situated approximately 200 feet from our deeded private beach on Nantucket Sound. Our three bedroom cottage is comforably equipped and located on a private road. This is the perfect place for family vacation. Our cottage has 1 bedroom with a Queen bed and 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds in each, open living/kitchen area (new stove and fridge with icemaker), LCD TV, deck for sitting/eating, new enclosed outdoor shower. The cottage is neatly furnished and reflects traditional Cape Cod cottage style. Nantucket Sound beaches offer warm, shallow, and calm water. Great for small children, swimming, boating, and exploring. Enjoy relaxing at the beach while you bask in the sun and feel the warm gentle breezes of Nantucket Sound. Take a dip in the crystal clear ocean that sparkles like diamonds when the sun dances upon it. Sip a glass of wine while catching a spectacular sunset. The ocean sound and salt air are guaranteed to relax you. If sitting is not for you, other activities abound. Grab a fishing pole and catch ''the big one'', take a stroll down the beach, or rent a sailboat or windsurfer.
Great for kids!! Our beach is kid-friendly. Shallow waters with small gentle waves make our beach a terrific place for children. Close by is Red River, a shallow inlet where kids can discover the wonders of the sea and marsh. Crabbing, fishing, beach combing, flying kites, and building sandcastles are just some of the activities kids love to do!
About Chatham...
Chatham is a small nostalgic seaside commity with many pleasures for young and old. Unique shops, boutiques and restaurants line both sides of Main Street as you take a stroll in the downtown area. Band concerts are held, in season, at the bandstand every Friday night with music and entertainment for all ages. There is much history here with much to see.
