This open and bright, Cape style home located in a quiet neighborhood is within walking/biking distance to Forest Beach, Taylor Pond, Cape Cod Rail Trail, a local library, tennis court, shops and restaurants. Enjoy sunrise breakfasts through evening cocktails on a furnished screened porch overlooking a peaceful backyard. Cook outdoors on gas or charcoal grills. You will be included in social time while preparing food in the open kitchen. The living and dining room comfortably accommodate all guests. Each bedroom has A/C. Master bedroom (Queen) has a ''lock off'' shower/dressing room allowing flexible 1st floor bathroom use. There is a full bath on the 2nd floor. The second floor bedrooms (2 twins; 1 twin & bunks) provide various sleeping arrangements - great for multiple couples, children, grandparents, etc. The closet space is plentiful and there are paddle fans throughout the house. The television is LCD with HDTV service. The basement provides easy storage for bikes and kayaks and offers walk-out access. It also contains a washer/dryer and ping-pong table for rainy day fun. Our home is conveniently located 3-5 miles from quaint Chatham or Harwich, major grocery and shopping centers and spacious Hardings Beach. The Captains and Cranberry Valley golf courses (rated 4star by Golf Digest) are within 10 to 15 minute drive.

Fun-tastic Family Getaway!

We had a super terrific week here at this Cape home. The house made us feel at home. It is very spacious, comfortable, and nicely appointed. The yard and screened in porch allow for fun no matter the weather. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, table settings, glassware, and a dishwasher. We enjoyed so many things: beaches, walks, outings in the surrounding towns, visiting the wildlife refuge, mini golf, ice cream, and shopping. Quite an adventure as we visited P-Town where we enjoyed lobster rolls, lobster bisque, and some old fashioned candy. The weather was certainly on our side! We saw seals, people clamming, star fish, dolphins, and sharks. We finished our week with some kayaking, a stop at Devils Purse Brewery, and the Orpheum Theater for a screening of JAWS. This is our third or fourth year returning to this rental, and would recommend it for those who want to have fun and go on adventures all within the comfort of home. show more show less

We love staying at this home, which is our 4th consecutive year. Our family of 7 enjoys the spacious interior, the bedroom layout with 1 master suite downstairs and 2 bedrooms with full bath upstairs, all the necessary amenities, and the lovely screened-in porch that everyone utilizes throughout the day. The location is close to the waterfront, quiet, and convenient to town shops, beaches and special events.

Convenient Location

We stayed here for a week. There were six adults and there was plenty of room for all. The house is exactly as pictured in the photos. We found it to be very convenient to everything. The house is clean and the enclosed porch in the back is lovely. We will definitely rent this house again.

Good location

Although the location is very good, we had some problems. Beds were quite uncomfortable, and most of the furnishings are past their expiration date. A few other problems were handled well by the rental agent.

Amazing property!

We loved staying at this house for a week in Chatham. The house is spotless, cozy, inviting and extremely well appointed. The owners have thought of everything. We ate almost every meal on the lovely screened in porch. Close proximity to beaches and many other activities.

We have been vacationing in Chatham for over 20 years and have never found a home to be as welcoming as this one! We have been staying at this property since 2007, and it is so wonderful we return each year. The homeowners have thought of every detail that makes our family feel so comfortable and at home when we are here!
