We have a wonderful family home, well maintained property with Ocean rights, in one of Chatham's very best locations.
This house is best suited for small families up to 6 persons, that want to visit 'The Cape it used to be' -- not city-modern.
OUR LOCATION:
Our home sits on a double-lot, just a few hundred feet from the Atlantic Ocean, with just a few minutes-walk to Town, Beaches, Fish Pier, Chatham Bars Inn, fine restaurants, golf, spa, tennis, shopping and attractions. The neighborhood is both exclusive and private. Only 4 homes accessed their homes via Briggs Way.
SETTING:
This is an exquisitely furnished Antique Cape home has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths (more details below). Well maintained, this property was built in 1950. Additional structures on the property include garage-workshop, garden shed and small rustic bedroom/ bath suitable for pre-teens and smaller teens. It's a short walk to the Atlantic Ocean via our private path which starts at the ocean-end of our property.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
The 1st floor master suite has a Sleep Number split-king bed with comfort remote. There's a private bath with air-tub / shower. The suite also includes a private sitting room with closet.
Also on the 1st floor is a smaller bedroom with private bathroom and shower. This room has a private door to the outside. This room has trundle-twins.
On the 2nd floor, there are two bedrooms. the larger one has oversized twins, with the smaller one having trundle-twins.
At the side of the garage, we have a rustic bedroom and bath suitable for pre-teens and smaller teens. We don't count it as a 5th bedroom, but we know its plenty popular with our grandchildren and prior guests (see photos)
LANDSCAPING:
The landscaping is all organic including lawn, organic vegetable garden, trees and flower beds. Help yourself to our vegetable garden. It's a stunning Oceanside location.
WHAT'S NEARBY (easy walking distance):
4 of Chatham's swimming beaches, Fish Pier, Lighthouse Beach, Town Center, outdoor Band Concerts, fine restaurants, shopping and cultural venues.
We are just minutes' walk from the world-class Chatham Bars Inn, offering golf, spa, tennis facilities and fine dining. On the beach, they have a Beach Bar right on the Ocean. There's fine dining is inside at the SACRED COD and STARS restaurants.
POPULAR VISIT:
Include whale-watching, day visits to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard via ferry. There are numerous historical venues all over Cape Cod including Plymouth Plantation and Mayflower Museum (Plymouth), the Whaling Museum in New Bedford, and so many more.
REVIEWS:
Our guest reviews and guest book are all 5-star reviews. We have photographed and videoed the property and room extensively, so there can be no disappointment upon arrival.
VALUE:
This home is located in a very exclusive neighborhood where properties values are in the $4-15 million range. The short rental-season combined with high-cost of maintenance and overhead, cause weekly rentals to be exceptionally high. This home falls in this category. Plenty of privacy and guest-functionality at about one-half the price of equivalent accommodation at the Chatham Bars Inn or Wequassette Resort. The owners plan to keep this property in the family, every rental dollar is reinvested in the property.
OUR SUPPORT TEAM:
Our property manager has been with us for over 15 years. Many of our guests have previously stayed at the Chatham Bars Inn, just minutes' walk down Shore Road. Our home is maintained at the same level, both inside and our beautifully landscaped yard.
