Charming Chatham Cottage w/AC - Walk to town and beach

My husband and I stayed here for a week. The location is the absolute best for exploring Main Street, Oyster Pond (our favorite swim spot with the grands), and Veterans Field where we did catch an Anglers game. Easy ride to other beaches. Very updated and comfortable. Would definitely return!

We decided to take a last minute getaway to the Cape. Sean was so responsive, timely and got everything in place within just a few days to make our trip happen.

When I say this cottage was immaculately clean I am not exaggerating. It was perfect for me, my husband and our 3 and 5 year old. I appreciated that it was tastefully decorated without any of the clutter or fragile items that make me nervous as a parent of young ones! I can still smell the scent of the cottage and am trying to figure out what it is they use! Everything was updated and worked...and yes, the beds are comfortable!

We enjoyed the short walk/drive to literally anything: the market, Veterans field, restaurants, beaches etc. Another plus were the amazingly friendly neighbors on the private drive. Thank you, Sean! We will definitely be back! show more show less

We made a last minute trip to the Cape. This cottage was in a perfect location - we could drive or ride our bikes to numerous places. Very close to downtown Main Street in Chatham. The owner overnighted the keys to us! It is perfect for a couple but would be tight for more than that as the living area is small and only has a small sofa and chair so it would be difficult for more than two people to get comfy after a long day out and about (we used the second bedroom for our luggage/dressing room). The cottage is nicely appointed and has been updated - the kitchen and bathroom are great! It was very clean when we arrived. We were not disappointed! show more show less

What a find! We had a wonderful vacation here. Cottage is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. On a quiet side street, but close to everything.

The owner recommended some great restaurants. They did not disappoint. We also used the grill and enjoyed time on the peaceful deck.

The next time we decide to visit Chatham, we will definitely rent here. Will recommend to family and friends.

We stayed in this perfect little cottage for a week in August 2018. It was just what we needed as a family of 4. Our two kids loved the bunk bed room and the yard space to run around and catch a few glimpses of the bunnies that visit the yard. The cottage was spotless, updated with adorable beachy decor and had everything we needed for a quick breakfast, pack a lunch and head out for a day at the beach. The location was perfect for a quick drive or walk to Chatham center for dinner and ice cream each night or a walk to the grocery store or CVS for the necessities. An outdoor shower is a must for our family each summer so we were happy to have it. The cottage is on a dead end street so there was no traffic and it was quiet. My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the back deck each morning and admired the forest in the back of the property. Sean was easy to work with and responsive to any questions we had. We would would love to stay again and highly recommend this cottage without any hesitation. show more show less

We had a wonderful vacation at this cottage during our stay in July 2017. It's perfectly located and within walking distance to town, the baseball field and close to shops. We did end up taking our car to the Oyster Bay beach just to make it easier with chairs and a cooler to unload. However, it's a 2 minute drive from the house, which was very convenient. The kitchen was nicely updated and fully stocked with every you would need. We would go down to the Chatham fish market and get fresh seafood daily to cook up back at the cottage.

The deck on the back of the home served as a lovely reading area in the morning or before dinner. There was a nice breeze which made it enjoyable even with the heat. One thing we were really thankful for was the A/C! We've rented many cottages on the Cape and having a cool cottage to sleep in during those humid nights made it a welcomed luxury.

The cottage was big enough for a couple or a small family with young children. The bathroom was nicely updated as were the bedrooms.

The area was quiet and despite being off the main road, we never heard the passing traffic.

We had a great time at this adorable cottage! It's like a high end hotel room with deck in a peaceful, quiet setting that is convenient to everything you could want in Chatham. We did not want to leave. It felt like it was our home. Comfy and spotless and so well decorated.

Sean and Berh were wonderful to work with and very accommodating . We will certainly be renting their lovely cottage again in the future.

An all around great experience. The house is new and within walking distance to just about everything in Chatham. It was immaculately clean, well stocked with all you could need plus other thoughtful details. Sean and Beth were super efficient with the transaction and follow-up and offered great suggestions/recommendations in the area. I would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend the property!

Cozy, comfy, clean cottage on a quiet street exactly as advertised. A 5 minute walk to town shops and restaurants, 2 minute walk to grocery store and drug store. Well furnished and all the necessary dishes/utensils/appliances were brand new. We enjoyed many mornings sipping coffee on the deck and evening dinners of fresh tuna or swordfish on the gas grill. The high speed internet allowed us to do the occasional work checkins :-(

The Friday-to-Friday rental is a great advantage, allowing us to avoid the weekend traffic hassles. The owner was very responsive to our emails and questions. show more show less
