Relax on the deck of this quaint Chatham cottage just steps from Oyster River and a mile to Harding's Beach. The open kitchen, dining and living room has a slider leading out to a large deck where you can sit back and watch the boats go by, or keep cool inside in air conditioned comfort. There is also a clean, walk-in, full basement where you can store your bikes, kayaks, and beach toys. Amenities include a dishwasher, washer/dryer, cable TV, Internet, a BBQ grill, and an outdoor shower.

Located next to the sleepy Oyster River Boatyard, enjoy a quick stroll to take in the sights of a small marina. Nearby Harding's Beach is arguably Chatham's finest family friendly beach. It has a large sandy beach, warm water, gentle surf, and plenty of parking. You can also stretch your legs with a half mile walk along the beach to picturesque Stage Harbor Lighthouse.

Along with its beautiful beaches, Chatham also offers many attractions such as the Fish Pier, the Grist Mill, Atwood House Museum, and its own public golf course. On an off beach, day you can spend an afternoon in the center of town poking in shops, dining at a restaurant, or taking in a movie at the local Orpheum Theater. Finish off the day watching a Chatham A's baseball game, where the country's best college players are scouted by the pro's.

Fun June Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the Jericho Deck House! We love the great access to the Oyster River for kayaking, biking around the neighborhood to Hardings Beach for sunset, and the short ride to the bike path to peddle to downtown Chatham. The house is very comfortable, clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. There are lots of hooks to hang stuff in the bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked and even had an oyster shucking knife! There is plenty of storage in the nice walk in dry basement for all the gear and toys. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and taking in the scenery. Thank you for a real good time! show more show less

The outdoor shower is top notch...Even has a well thought out drink holder! Perfect for post beach happy hour shower. Perfect back deck for relaxing in morning w/ coffee, or at end of day looking out over the marina to the river. So close to Harding's Beach and kayaking on Oyster River. Good location and close proximity to breakfast spot Larry's PX, and Shop Ahoy Liquors. Not too far from town either. Overall, this was a cozy, comfortable and very clean rental. We will rent this again hopefully in the near future. show more show less

Perfect location

Loved our stay in this cottage on the river! The weather for our trip was all over the map but the cottage was fully equipped and comfortable for hanging out in during the rainy times. The view off the deck was so relaxing with plenty of room for socializing. Hope to return some day.

The name derives from when this property was part of a sailing camp in the 50's. Our spot was one of the deck platforms used for tents and continues to be the name and appropriate description of our house.
