What better way to experience Cape Cod than to stay in a windmill right on the beach! Our property is very unique-- not many people get to stay in a real windmill! Our windmill is the gem of the neighborhood, as a representation of Chatham and its history, and stands at the entry to our beautiful association. Not only is the house itself noteworthy as a windmill, but the location is exceptional.

Look out most of our windows and you will see water all around. Imagine a great sunset dinner on the patio with our grill or fire pit. It is worth waking yourself up extra early just to see the sunrise right there, over Crows Pond, which leads out to views of the bay and the Outer Bar beyond. Or watch a full moon rise over the water from the patio, after you grill your dinner. Crows Pond is alive with motorboats, sailboats, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, and Kayaking, to name a few. It also has its quiet moments for those looking for that. Our windmill cottage is for people that appreciate something different, something small, something simple and unique, and an escape from impersonal hotel/motel style vacationing. It is very small, but packed with character and beautiful detail, and the location is truly unbeatable!

There is a full sized bed upstairs, right in the original mill room, with a view of the inner workings of the mill! There is also queen size pull-out couch in the living room for additional guests*. There is a separate dining room in the mill room, below the bedroom. Fast Wifi is provided. The kitchen has a full stove. One bathroom with shower, with backdoor access to the patio for easy rinse off after being on the beach. We have a washer/dryer combination, and a beautiful patio overlooking the bay with a grill and a fire pit for your enjoyment. There is also a backyard, private parking, and our own private beach directly in front of the house.

During the day, walk a few steps down to enjoy the beautiful water, with all it has to offer. You can launch your sailboat, kayak or paddle board and explore all the little islands and sand bars just around the corner from us, or simply enjoy swimming in front of the house or strolling the beach. Of course there are plenty of other activities just a short drive away, heading into the downtown area or to famous Lighthouse Beach to look out at the ocean.

For those interested, we are located 3.1 miles from Chatham Bars Inn, 1.8 miles from Wequassett Resort and Golf Club, and 0.6 miles from Eastward Ho Country Club.
