The home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac street - perfect for children. The home features a bright open floor plan with living room, dining room, and kitchen all connected, central A/C, granite countertops, 4 large bedrooms, 2 full baths plus an outdoor shower with a separate changing area, hardwood floors throughout, fireplace, and game room in the basement. The outside is naturally landscaped, fenced-in pool and patio in the back, and hydrangeas galore!

You can't beat the location! In addition to being walkable to the beach, the bike path is right up the street, and it is 3 miles from quaint Harwich Port and 3 miles from downtown Historic Chatham Center. In Chatham, you will find great shopping, fantastic food, an active fishing pier (see the seals!), lighthouse beach, walking trails down Monomoy, Cape Cod baseball games, Friday night band concerts, and much more. You are also 3 miles from the ferry over to Nantucket - great for day trips!

    Welcome Home!

    This is your home away from home! Dan and his family have created the best family get away I've ever been to. We honestly didn't need to bring anything but clothes. We had 5 kids with us ranging from 2 to 15 yrs old. Eveyone was happy and entertained for days. The outdoor shower was especially a hit with the toddlers. We originally chose this house based on location. Ridgevale beach is fantastic for little ones who enjoy nature. The tide pools create a safe swimming environment you rarely get at a beach. Catching several species of crabs was a daily highlight. show more show less

    Everything you need from a vacation!

    This lovely house has everything you need to enjoy a vacation! The highlight is the salt water pool with hot tub, which the kids and adults both enjoyed and having them attached to each other was very convenient. The abundant beach and pool toys were much enjoyed by the kids. The beach is close by within walking distance and parking is free after 4:30pm so we enjoyed a picnic dinner at the beach while the kids caught hermit crabs. There is a railroad museum and shark center nearby that the kids enjoyed. The house is clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked with everything you could need from basic cooking supplies to shampoo. It was very much appreciated especially on vacation not to need to worry about bringing or buying various household goods. There are only 2 full bathrooms but the outdoor shower by the pool was super helpful especially after pool time and going to the beach. I would highly recommend this house especially if you want a convenient vacation with young kids! show more show less

    What is special about this property?
    Perfect location and great for two families! Walkable to a fantastic beach and bike path, and close to lovely Harwich and Chatham town centers. The pool is new and amazing to cool off between beach time, or as the sun sets in the back of the house.
