Welcome to Vagabond , a quiet woodland escape overlooking private Duane’s Pond (not a swimming pond). Set on nearly 2 acres this home offers all you could want for your perfect cape cod vacation. With a Queen master en-suite on 1st floor, & secondary King en- suite on 2nd floor, as well as two sets of twins and another queen there is plenty of room for the entire family. Enjoy an outdoor shower post- beach, grilling dinner with your family in the backyard , and sitting around the fire pit watching the fireflies after after a long day enjoying one of the many ponds and beaches just a few minutes away. Don’t overload the car !, as we provide linens , beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards,& beach toys. Maximum occupancy of 10. We are sorry but we can not accommodate ANY pets due to severe allergies.

    Perfect Family stay in Chatham

    Our family of five had an absolutely wonderful stay at this vacation rental in Chatham. The location couldn't have been better—just minutes from Main Street Chatham, several beautiful beaches, and a local grocery store, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

    The house was spacious, beautifully maintained, and without question the cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed in. It was also stocked with everything you could possibly need, so there was no need to bring extra items from home. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived.

    One of our favorite parts of each day was enjoying our morning coffee on the back deck while listening to the peaceful sounds of nature. It was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore Chatham.

    The host was truly exceptional—friendly, incredibly accommodating, and always available to answer questions or offer suggestions during our stay. Their hospitality made an already fantastic vacation even better.

    We enjoyed our stay so much that we're already considering putting down a deposit to return next year. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a spotless, comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly located place to stay in Chatham.     show more show less

    We are a local family that lives and works within the community. For the first time we are opening our home for guests to enjoy the place that we are fortunate enough call home.

    What is special about this property?
    Vagabond is a single family home with plenty of privacy. If you enjoy just being able to sit back and listen to the birds and observe nature around you than this is the place for you. You've got your pick of beaches and ponds just a short drive away. They local bike rail trail is just down the street and we are within close driving distance to multiple retail shops.

    What is special about your town?
    Chatham has a quaint old town charm that you don't find many other places . We are a community rooted in heritage that spans generations. Enjoy some local seafood from a picnic bench while watching the fishing fleet offload their catch. You'll be sure to see a seal or two. Visit one of our beautiful local beaches or ponds just a short drive away loaded up with all the gear available to you when you arrive at Vagabond. Stroll along Main Street visiting one of our many locally owned and run restaurants and retail shops. Visit the Atwood Museum and Chatham Lighthouse. Enjoy the Friday check in so you can make it to the Chatham Band Concert .
