From the moment we arrived, our hosts were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed peaceful mornings by the ocean and sunset strolls in the evening. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to experience the charm of Chatham in a serene and welcoming setting.

We had a wonderful stay at Linda & Bob's home within walking distance of Ridgevale Beach!! It is a very hard place to leave! The cottage was adorable, clean, comfortable, and much larger than we anticipated. There is plenty of room for various sleeping arrangements and everyone was able to relax and spread out.

I especially loved how it is close to the beach but the setting/deck is nicely wooded allowing plenty of privacy. Oh and that outdoor shower - private but easy access to the basement sliders. Another feature is they leave plenty of items for the beach, wagon, umbrella, chairs. We didn't need toys but they are there!

The homeowners have truly thought of everything to provide the perfect beach vacation. Thank you Linda & Bob!!!!

We had such a relaxing stay in this spotless, well-equipped home walking distance to Ridgevale Beach. This is an adorable house with tons of sleeping spaces for guests. There are two full bathrooms and an outdoor shower, as well as any type of kitchen supplies you would need. The deck is wonderful for relaxing, too! Linda left us a sweet welcoming gift and was always available to us if we needed anything. We would definitely return to this lovely home!

Although we live on Cape Cod my husband and I decided to spend a week away from our home in a safe place during Covid. This house was a perfect choice being so close to Ridgevale Beach…a favorite for swimming, riding the current, birdwatching and just relaxing. Convenient to the bike path, Chatham shops and restaurants (and especially Marion's pie shop!), we were also able to easily take some day trips to the Provincetown/Wellfleet area.

In addition to enjoying some outdoor dining and takeout the kitchen provided all the equipment we needed for meals with food we brought from home. The house was spacious, comfortable and provided good WiFi and TV service. Again, it was a lovely fall getaway!

We had a great week at the beachhouse ... walking distance to Ridgevale Beach and a very comfortable cottage with central AC (for the few muggy nights we had this year). Kids retreated to the finished basement while my wife and I enjoyed the deck. Cottage lived up the description! Thanks Linda and Bob

The house and location were perfect for a wonderful week down the Cape. Spacious, clean and comfortable and provides a whole living area downstairs which is great for teenagers to feel like they have their own space. Super easy to get to Ridgevale beach and spent many relaxing afternoons on the deck. We will be back!

We had a wonderful week at Bob & Linda's rental property. Walking distance to the beach (beach also has parking), very clean and well equipped with necessities. Bob & Linda are very nice, as well!

What a great place to stay on Cape Cod. The cottage was just as shown in the pictures, updated, spotless, warm and inviting. Room for everyone in the family. The beach was close by and we appreciated the supply of beach chairs and sand toys.

We come to Chatham every year. This year we weren't sure what to do with Covid and all. But we kept our plans and rented Linda's house and boy are we glad we did. First and foremost, the care linda took in cleaning the house and preparing it for us amidst Covid was top notch. I brought cleaner thinking I would need to wipe things down but the house was sparking clean and disinfected. I didn't need to do a thing.

The home was well situated in the Ridgevale beach neighborhood and well appointed with anything we needed. You can walk to the beach but we bring a ton of stuff so we drove. There is a lot of space- more than it seems from the outside. The master bed was extremely comfortable which is always a concern when renting! It had all our family of 4 needed fir a comfortable vacation.

Honestly- the cherry on top was Linda. She was the best host. Very communicative. Honest. Kind. And even left us homegrown cherry tomatoes and a welcome bag with lots of goodies for the kids.

One of our best Ridgevale vacations for sure. We will be back!

We were so lucky to have found this gem of a place as a getaway during the crazy summer of the pandemic! This was a wonderful, roomy, quiet place for us: a family of 5, along with my mother, who was able to have her own separate quarters downstairs if she needed some privacy. We so enjoyed walking to the gorgeous beach down the street every day and riding bikes in the area too. Chatham was the perfect location, as there is so much to do there. Plus, we could easily get to Provincetown or the upper Cape as well.

Linda and Bob were meticulous about making sure that the place was clean and all the rules were followed concerning the extra considerations during the pandemic. They also gave so many great recommendations, whenever we asked. We would be lucky to stay here again!!

My family and I stayed here for a week in August 2020 during the Covid 19 virus and we were very happy with everything. The house was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and we enjoyed all of the amenities. The owners are great and very accommodating. The location is also great; in a quiet neighborhood and just down the road from the beach. We enjoyed everything so much that we are coming back for a week in September!

We were fortunate to rent Linda & Bob's beach getaway for two weeks in July/Aug 2020. It was a much needed break from a chaotic Covid-19 spring/summer. The owners did a wonderful job notifying us of all the Covid-19 adjustments made in their rental, as well as Chatham. We felt very comfortable with how they were handling the cleaning of the home between renters. They were attentive to any questions we had. The rental itself was perfect for our family of four (including a 3&5 year old). It was comfortable, clean and the location is very quiet. We really enjoyed having a separate living space downstairs - although we didn't use the bedroom, it was nice to have another living room & shower. Location was perfect - we really enjoy Ridgevale Beach for our little ones, and we were a 5 minute drive to the Bike Path.

This was perfect for our family. The teenagers had their own suite on the lower level while the adults and another child enjoyed the main level. We walked to Marion's Pie Shop as well as Chatham Pottery. In the other direction we were a short distance to wonderful Ridgevale Beach with its kid-friendly inlet. The teenagers loved sunbathing and swimming in the sound.

Fantastic house! My family and I have been going to the Cape for over twenty years and this was one of our best stays yet. Our goal is always to find a large, comfortable, clean, pleasant house to rent, and one that's within walking distance to the beach. Not always easy to find.
Everything - the house, the furniture, the kitchen, the beds, the secluded porch - was perfect. And the folks that manage the property, Linda and Bob, are also clearly top-notch. They were extremely down to earth, professional and courteous. Again, great house and the quarter mile walk to the ocean - fantastic.

We vacationed at Bob and Linda's Chatham beach home during the Covid-19 epidemic. We found that the home's location, its layout, and the care taken to ensure compliance made this a uniquely charming and safe place to stay.

First and foremost, the home is in Chatham, an exclusive Cape Cod village. Beautiful Ridgevale Beach is a short walk down the street flanked with distinctive homes and hydrangea landscapes. On the beach, we walked along the unobstructed shoreline, enjoyed the water and waves, and watched the children play in the shallow natural tidal pool. People seemed very respectful of each other and wore face coverings.

The large, private deck and the interior layout of the home made it easy to social distance ourselves. With two levels, each with large bedrooms and a bathroom, our families had separate sleeping and washing facilities. There is also an outdoor shower.

The owners strictly followed State guidelines for cleaning the home between guests. Thank you, Bob and Linda, for an unforgettable vacation in a beautiful and safe setting.

I stayed in Linda and Bob's house for an entire month when our family came together to help our father move from his long-time home to senior living. This is our second year staying at Chatham by the Sea. The accommodations were more than adequate and comfortable. The location was wonderful. Walking distance to Ridgevale Beach and a short ride to Chatham and Harwich Port for our shopping and dining experiences.
