Bright, Charming, Clean Chatham Home, 1/2 mi to Beach!

My family of 4 adults and two children ages 4 and 7 enjoyed this lovely home last week. This was very close to Oyster Bay and Jackknife Beaches which are ideal for young children. It is also convenient to Harding Beach in Chatham as well as Marconi beach in Wellfleet, two of our favorites. The kitchen had more than enough supplies. The outdoor shower is roomy especially for my son in law who is over 6 feet. The outdoor deck is huge.

Our family, 9 of us plus dog, enjoyed ourselves immensely during our week in Chatham. The house was very comfortable, lots of room for us all, and the kitchen was not missing a thing. We enjoyed dinners on the beautiful deck, the young grandchildren loved the toys in the basement, others of us were happy to find a short bike route to a local swimming lake (our favorite) as well as other biking destinations, beds were comfortable...not a single complaint. The owners were easy to reach and helpful when we had questions, both before and during our stay. show more show less

We spent 2 wonderful weeks at this home -- 6 adults & 3 grandchildren under 3. We had more than enough room. Very child & adult friendly. The deck was our favorite breakfast & dinner spot.

The only items we needed to bring were our personal things & food. The owners have thought of everything. We were situated between two of our favorite villages, Chatham & Orleans. Great restaurants,shopping , bike path, and beaches. And the weather was awesome.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this house with our family. The kitchen was large and well-equipped, and the layout of the bedrooms (one downstairs, 3 upstairs) worked perfectly for us. The house is well-kept with lots of space to hang out and relax. We didn't use the deck much because of the massive amounts of pollen, but it was beautiful and spacious. The grounds are beautiful and the house is located on a quiet, peaceful street. It was an easy drive from Chatham to various points of interest around the Cape, and I couldn't recommend the house highly enough. show more show less

We just came back from our Chatham vaca, and we can't say enough about how perfect this home is. We were three generations -- seven people ages 1 to 50+. The den with tv/dvd player plus a living room on the first floor allowed plenty of space to spread out. Also on the first floor is one bedroom and a bath, a good size dining room and a kitchen that's a dream to work in. The outdoor shower is perfect and so roomy, and the deck is HUGE. I think we ate every single meal on that deck! Upstairs has three more bedrooms and another bath. Very quiet neighborhood. Spotless and comfortable home. We had record breaking heat, and the window air conditioners and fans were plenty for us. We never found the beach that's 1/2 mile away, but it's only a short drive to several other beautiful beaches and to downtown Chatham. Don't miss the Friday evening band concert for families in Chatham. At noontime, visit the Fishing Pier to watch the commercial fishermen unload their catch and feed leftover chum to the MANY seals. Both are excellent, free entertainment, and you can buy your fresh lobster right there to take back to the house. We chose to buy day beach passes ($15) rather than the weekly pass ($60) because we wanted flexibility to use beaches in Chatham and Harwich. Try to catch a Cape Cod League baseball game. There's a great playground for the little ones right next to Veteran's Field where they play. You'll be delighted with this home. No unpleasant surprises, and the owner is very accommodating.
