This well maintained, charming, Cape style ranch has everything your family or friends need for a great beach vacation. Enjoy the breathtaking sunsets from nearby West Dennis Beach or cocktails on my deck. Our quiet street is family friendly, and we are a short bike ride, only 7/10 ths of a mile, from the popular Nantucket Sound beaches and only minutes from the beautiful National Seashore ocean beaches.

The home is equipped with DVD/VHS players, 4 cable TVs and WIFI. If you like to cook, the kitchen is fully appointed, both indoors and out. Don’t lug a highchair, an adjustable one is already in the kitchen. Yes, a lobster pot and utensils are there too. There are two bedrooms with twin size beds and the spacious master has a new queen size bed - all with cable TV's, blankets and pillows. The large deck is fully furnished and the enclosed outdoor shower with changing area is refreshing anytime, especially after a day at the beach. We have plenty of accessories: beach chairs, pails and shovels, kick boards, Ooooodles of nooooooodles, also a large cooler to take to the beach. Nearby you will find many golf courses, both private and public, as well as miniature golf, fun for the whole family. We are located close to the world famous 'Sundae School' ice cream parlor. Dennis Village will keep you busy looking for antiques and strolling through the many gift shops and art galleries. We are very convenient to all the Dennis attractions. Charming Chatham is nearby, and Hyannis is a short drive west for shopping. There are ample restaurants, varying from inexpensive clam shacks to romantic candlelit dinner establishments.

Barbara's Bike Shop is also in the neighborhood, providing rentals and bike sales, so you can enjoy the Cape Cod Bike Trail and all its twenty-plus miles of wooded scenery. There are 2 bikes for your use.And 2 for wee ones.

Drive 2 minutes to Rt. 28 for kayaking/canoeing on the Swan and Bass rivers or miniature golf, or Rt. 134 shopping, restaurants, and bike trail. It is a 15 minute drive to historic Rt. #6-A shops, restaurants, and ''Children's theatre'' in Dennis and the popular Dennis bay side beaches to the North. Charter fishing is available. You will just love picking fresh herbs and grilling fresh fish on the gas BBQ grill and if you need to know how, just CALL ME!

More like sharing someone's home rather than a stripped down rental. Queen bed very comfy. Laundry facilities good to have. Jerry is a an affable and kind man. I wouldn't hesitate to do any kind of business with him. God Bless you Jerry! Thanks again!

Thanks for everything, Jerry. We had a lovely vacation. The Cape was wonderful, we walked the beaches, ate seafood every day and shopped at three of the four quality yarn shops, contributing to the economy. The only downside compared to the summer was the closing of the ice cream places, but Ben and Jerry's was open with great sundaes in Hyannis and Hagan Daz was a very acceptable substitute from the supermarket.

I turned down the thermostat to 50, but I didn't change the programming that was there when we arrived so the temperature will fluctuate over 24 hours.

Enjoy your fall and winter. We'll be coming back I hope next summer, and I'll be in touch soon to confirm.

This Cottage Has Everything For a Family

We loved staying at Jerry's cottage! Three bedrooms, a living room, an eat-in kitchen and a deck gave our group of three adults, two teens and a pre-schooler lots of space to be together without being crowded. The rooms are attractive and comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped—don't bother bringing anything, Jerry has it! I loved the deck and walking to the beach early in the morning, the teens loved movies in the living room at night, and Dennis Port is right in the middle of the Cape with easy access to bike trails (and bike shops for rentals), ferries to the Vineyard and Nantucket, beaches, restaurants, the all-important ice cream, and even a lovely yarn shop in Dennis. We had a wonderful time, and the cottage made a perfect home base, especially with central air as we were there during a heat wave. Jerry was very helpful, even calling me a day ahead to say the cottage was available as early as we wanted to arrive in the morning. We love the Cape and have stayed in several cottages; this is our favorite and we definitely want to come back. show more show less

Coastal vibe and comfortable living space for 5 adults (2 parents, 3 adult "children") at a GREAT rate; We only needed food, sheets and towels (beach and bath)--everything else was supplied from coffee filters and herbs/spices to washer/dryer and beach buckets. Location is convenient to all fun Cape stuff! Thank you, Jerry!!
