Join us for our 3rd year renting our family's warm & happy home. We are well-situated to give you easy access to the best of the Cape; our location is so lush, quiet and peaceful yet only 5 minutes' drive from the shops and restaurants of Orleans, 7 minutes to First Encounter and other favorite bay side beaches and 10 minutes to the jewel of the National Seashore’s Coast Guard beach. Just around the corner from the bike path (3 minute bike ride to the trail) and freshwater ponds. Within easy reach of towns like Chatham, Wellfleet and Provincetown for exploring the beautiful Outer Cape and the stunning Cape Cod National Seashore. This is a house for all seasons, the perfect spot for a getaway in summer, spring and the cooler seasons, too!

Nestled on nearly ¾ of an acre plot on along a private road/cul-de-sac on the bay side of Eastham, this pristine, newly updated home is a lovely retreat from it all. Our wooded lot surrounded by pine and other mature trees with spacious and welcoming outdoor spaces, including beautifully landscaped grounds full of hydrangeas, cone flowers, lemony lace, daisies, geraniums and rows of hostas.

From the screened back-deck slider you exit to a very private split level deck with an acacia wood outdoor dining table that comfortably seats six, Lloyd Flanders white wicker outdoor couches and the obligatory outdoor shower. The deck features a new Weber 3 burner grill (gas provided) and just below, the firepit (perfect for s'more-making) is surrounded by comfortable outdoor seating and a double hammock.

Relax in the shade on the shade or take a cool outdoor shower after your visit to your choice of nearby beaches. The cul-de-sac location makes it safe for kids to play in the yard and ride their bikes, and is a perfect place to rest and relax and among the trees.

Inside, this quiet and serene saltbox house has been lovingly maintained. We bought this beautiful family home in summer 2020 and have been updating every detail for your family to enjoy, including a new UHD 55in flat screen TV and commercial grade WIFI for indoor and outdoor internet access. The property also has reliable cell coverage on all networks, so you can easily ‘work from home.’ Newly installed AC mini-splits throughout the house keep it cool in summer and warm in winter.

Other features include a new L-shaped sectional sofa, coastal-inspired art work and all new furniture and mattresses in the 3 air-conditioned/ceiling-fanned, serene bedrooms. The bright and sunny dining room offers a cathedral ceiling. There are unique hexagonal windows and skylights throughout. Pretty wood floors, wood burning fireplace, first floor laundry, plus a sunny loft for reading and relaxing.

The main floor includes the living room 55 inch Roku UHD TV; dining table that seats 8 and soaring cathedral ceiling with skylights. A bright and sunny queen bedroom; a windowed ½ bath/laundry room and the fully equipped open layout chef’s kitchen featuring good knives, full sets of matching plates, glasses and stemless wine glasses with both drip coffee maker and French Press, toaster.

Up the stairs to the second floor, the sunny, cozy loft features a new couch /sleeper, many children’s books and a whimsical handmade Claire Murray rug. Perfect as a game room or a place to curl up and read together. A tall room divider helps to close off the space for added privacy.

To the right is the full bathroom featuring a shower and bath, and two cheerful large bedrooms, each w/generous closets. First, two twins and then the master bedroom with a queen bed. Each bedroom in the house features new furniture including chest of drawers and a large closet and Cape Cod and nautical-inspired art. Brand new beds, mattresses and pillows in every room.

    Wonderful time

I would recommend this house to everyone. It had all that you need. The home is clean, central to all places you may want to travel to around the Cape as well as the beautiful beaches.
My favorite place of this house is the outdoor patio with the warm lights at night and roaring fire pit. Just gorgeous. A special thank you to the owners who were excellent to deal with. A definite return back!!!!

    Excellent home in Eastham

We had a wonderful week at the Cape while stayed at this home in Eastham. The home owners were courteous and hospitable and thought of everything to make for a great vacation week. The home was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for cooking dinners at home. We especially enjoyed the gas grill and very private and secluded outdoor patio for outdoor cooking, dining and relaxing under the lights. The large smart TV and comfortable sectional in the living room made rainy days much more tolerable. We have been vacationing on the Cape for many years and this is definitely one of the nicer homes we have stayed at!

    Summer Vacation

Our family had a great time at your home. It was close to both the bay and ocean side of the cape. My daughter loved the library upstairs. Perfect for a quiet family friendly getaway.

Great launching pad for a Cape vacation

My family of 5 stayed in this home (2 adults, 3 children) and we found it to be very comfortable for our needs. The kitchen had dishes/pots/tools for cooking, and the AC kept us cool during a fairly muggy stretch of weather. We really enjoyed its proximity to the bike path and definitely used the path daily (we brought bikes). We were able to ride to beaches, the National Seashore, and other adventures. The house itself is quiet and tucked away (while being close to everything) and we enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. Natalya left a book with restaurant suggestions, which we relied heavily on - all great suggestions, too! The selection of games in the house (for a rainy day or otherwise idle children) was excellent - we had a lot of fun with those. Was also pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of beach toys in the basement - we had packed our own boogie boards but Natalya already had them in the house, along with inflatables, etc. The kids really loved having those options. With the check in time later in the day and us wanting to beat the 4th of July traffic over the bridge, we arrived on the Cape early and took Natalya's suggestion of heading to a state park in Brewster - that ended up being a fantastic use of a day as well, with swimming and biking on the bike path while we waiting to check in. It was like a bonus vacation day. Just a fantastic all around house and location - we will be back! show more show less

    Couldn't be better!

This is a lovely, comfortable, up to date home with everything you need for vacation. The kitchen was very well equipped, beds very comfortable and air conditioning much appreciated. The outdoor area was delightful and in a very peaceful setting. Much equipment was available in the basement for trips to the nearby beaches. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

    Comfortable, well appointed and convenient

This is a lovely home in a convenient location. It is very close to the bike path (about 3 minutes) and quick bike ride over to Great Pond for fresh water swim.

The homeowners/hosts have thought of everything, from a very well detailed 'house' book to lobster pot and 'crackers' to beach gear to use on the beach (stored in the basement). The backyard is private with many shaded seating areas. Everything is in great working order. The home is comfortable, neat, clean and uncluttered. Furnishings are new (as of 2022). The home is decorated in a nautical style. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make meals at 'home'. Dishwasher and A/C are appreciated amenities. show more show less

    Lovely home with convenient location

We only stayed for a few days but the house is conveniently close to Orleans for shopping and amenities but also not too far from the beaches in Eastham. The house is well laid out, was clean and is stocked with lots of books and games for rainy days especially for kids. We really appreciated the office space up on the second floor with a decent size monitor to do some work. Thanks for letting us stay.

    Beautiful and Inviting Home

This was one of the loveliest properties we have ever booked. The location is beautiful, and close to everything we were hoping to see. There is ample outdoor space for children to play on swings, and for the family to make s'mores at the fire pit. The house is spotless clean, and well stocked (they even had a potato peeler!), while not cluttered. Reliable WiFi service allowed us to get some work done.

Natalya was a gracious host and immediately responded to our texts, and they even left us a welcome package!

We are looking forward to returning to the Cape and booking this home again, hopefully when it is warm enough to enjoy the beach!

    Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others. The location was great-so close to First Encounter Beach. The house was very clean and spacious. We really enjoyed eating on the back deck. The washer and dryer also came in handy!

    This one's a gem

We had a delightful 3-week stay at this beautiful property in early June, before the summer season kicked off in earnest. We've been renting in Eastham for more than 30 years, and we can honestly say that this is the nicest house we've rented.

Incredible thought and effort went into the way the home is organized and managed. The net result - it's really "clean," not just sanitary, but clean as in "uncluttered." Everything you could ever need or want is within easy reach, but there's nothing extraneous. That promotes an ability to arrive, move in and start living with true ease. The multiple living spaces – all of them comfy, both inside and out – make the home very conducive to the kind of multi-generational test to which we put it.

The carefully designed landscaping complements the natural beauty of the site, making it a very comfortable place to just hang out.

Loved the easy access to Orleans and the Bay beaches.

We have been coming to the cape to vacation for over a decade, with and without kids. Over that time we rented homes from Brewster to Wellfleet and in Spring 2020 bought this warm & cozy home to share with our family, friends & you!

What is special about this property?
We chose this house because we love the location, nestled among the trees on a private road away from the summer traffic, our kids can just roam around outside, ride their bikes on the road and explore in the trees. They also love making S'mores at the fire pit. We're an active family and we love the proximity to the bike path on roads that are safe for the kids to bike on and that we are a short drive from ponds, ocean beaches, bay beaches and inlets.

We've spent many weeks living here during 2020/21 and this makes the home special for you. Some ideas we had, we lived with, and realized they would not work - for you or us. Eating-in regularly has meant we have filled the kitchen with most all the tools you would want and working from the cape has meant we made sure the internet was reliable and you get a office chair and easy USB-C/Thunderbolt dock to connect to they screen, keyboard and mouse.

The house is surrounded by nature you can hear the woodpeckers, see turkeys roaming in the garden and spot many local birds resting in the shade of the trees. We spent time summer 2020 planting the garden with colorful flowers & lush plants. We hope you will enjoy their sights & aromas as much as we do.

What is special about your town?
Eastham, surrounded by the ocean on one side and the bay on the other, has so many great beaches to choose from and is a little less developed than some areas of the Cape. The Cape Cod Rail Trail runs through it all and is just a short bike (or walk) from the house. We also love how close we are to Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown to the east & and Orleans, Chatham, Harwich & Hyannis to the west.

Eastham is a relaxed, unpretentious town with lots of nature to explore and is wonderful year round!
