Walk across the road and use the chairs provided to sit on the beach with a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise over Buzzards Bay looking across to Falmouth and West Falmouth. Watch recreational boaters, ocean liners, and container ships pass by Cleveland Ledge Lighthouse heading towards the canal. Enjoy the waters of Buzzards Bay without crossing the Cape Cod bridges and dealing with traffic.

In the evening, sit near the marshland with a glass of wine and watch sunset over Mattapoisett Harbor and Neds Point Lighthouse. An ocean lover's dream location. During the day, take a swim in the warm water of Buzzards Bay where there are sandbars with no sharp drop or undertow. With a Mattapoisett shellfish license, you can walk out at low tide and grab a bucket of quahogs to make your own stuffies, chowder or quahog casino. There are walking trails that will take you to other beach communities or you can traverse Mattapoisett Land Trust trails.

This newly renovated rustic summer house rental is a studio setup for two adults. Windows on all four sides let the sunlight stream in all day. Open the windows and fill the house with the ocean breeze. The house offers a pull out king size sofa with two comfortable chairs for lounging. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, two unit electric stovetop, Keurig coffee maker and granite sink. If you would like to grill your dinner, we offer a new Char Broil propane grill on ground level with Brookstone grilling tools.

For your sleeping comfort, you have a choice of air conditioning or an overhead fan. WIFI/Cable/Streaming is included. Outdoor, private shower with large separate dressing area is a great way to enjoy outdoor living.

Sorry, no children or pets. Smoking allowed outside only but please dispose of your butts in a safe and ecological way, not strewn on the grass, beach or marshland. Please bring your own toiletries, hair dryer, linens and towels.
