Stay in an authentic 18th century grist windmill, secluded and deep in the woods, on the water, off Barley Neck Road in East Orleans. Swim or kayak in Little Pleasant Bay from your private beach just steps away, and explore the Bay and Sampson, Pochet, or Hog Islands at your leisure. Experience the beauty of Cape Cod sunrises and sunsets from the front lawn. And, just maybe, you will see deer or fox that occasionally cross the yard. A grill is available for cookouts, as is a picnic table to enjoy your food while looking out over the Bay. And, when you come back from the beach, there is an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand and salt!

The public beaches, on both the Bay and ocean sides, are within easy driving distances from the Mill.

The loft in THE MILL has twin beds, and there is a full bed in what was the tiny Mill living room that adjoins an open kitchen. In the addition to the Mill (added in 1963), you will find a full bath, the master bedroom with a queen bed, and a living room, which has a fireplace and two window seats looking out over the Bay. It is a home full of history and love in an idyllic setting. If you zoom in you can also see the stairs down to the beach, an alternative path down to the beach (with 2 kayaks seen alongside the path), the water, and the beach with a higher tide water line visible in the sand.
