Our stay was everything we hoped for at this property. We have rented many houses in Orleans over the years and this was definitely in the top of our choices. The owner Marianne was very responsive and kind, the kitchen well equipped, great outdoor shower and wonderful location. We hope to rent again next year!

We previously stayed in Orleans with a huge group the year prior at a house in the same neighborhood. We enjoyed it so much we selected this house for just the 2 of us this year. Nice quiet private location. Quick drive to Nauset or shops, restaurants and grocery store in Orleans. Easy access to rt 6 to explore other towns including Ptown. Home was clean and we liked the open common area.

My husband, son, and I had a lovely stay at this house! It is very comfortable and Marianne has equipped it with everything one could need including sheets, towels, hand soap, toiletries, dishwasher detergent, paper products, coffee filters, hair dryer, ironing board, beach chairs and umbrella, cooler, etc! The kitchen is also well stocked with glasses, dishes and cookware. We were there during a hot week but the air conditioners in the bedrooms kept us comfortable at night and there are three large fans to keep air circulating throughout the house. It's on a quiet street that is a quick drive to restaurants, shopping, and beaches in Orleans. Marianne is a wonderful host and we look forward to staying here again!

Marianne's rental house was a great place to stay.... very clean and well equipped. It is conveniently located in East Orleans, with easy access to beaches, restaurants and stores. We enjoyed relaxing times on the deck and made good use of the outdoor shower. It was very easy to communicate with Marianne and she answered any questions we had right away.
We enjoyed our week at the house and would definitely stay there again.

The house is very clean, spacious, bright and comfortable. It has everything you need - great appliances, pots and pans that are still non-stick, grill, beach chairs/umbrella and even extra coolers. We have rented a lot of houses on the Cape, Vermont, etc., and this was among the very best. This may seem minor, but the cutlery was great quality and recently sharpened. For someone who enjoys cooking, and hates the ubiquitous dull knives common among rental property, this was a phenomenal surprise!

Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! The owner Marianne was great and was truly vested in making our stay the absolute best! The rental process was smooth sailing from beginning to end. The home was private, comfortable, immaculate, well appointed and complete with all the extra essentials you might need.

The home was situated in a lovely, quiet neighborhood minutes from our ultimate destination, Nauset Beach and so close to all of our favorite restaurants, sunsets and places of interest.

The outdoor shower out on the deck was so refreshing, particularly after a beautiful day at Nauset Beach. In fact, we never used the indoor shower our entire stay.

We are planning on returning next year for an extended vacation as 1 week was not enough. We loved this home and really enjoyed our stay!!!

Marianne has been fabulous the two years we have stayed here.
First it was the Pandemic and this year COVID and Hurricane Henri-Marianne was terrific and both years we had a wonderful vacation!!

We have rented other vacation homes but none have been as fully and thoughtfully supplied. Marianne has thought of everything!

We loved our stay on Gibson Rd. Marianne was a great host. I had never rented a house for our vacation before and Marianne made the process super easy. The house was very comfortable for my family and I enjoyed watching Red Sox games on the big TV.

The location was great. Nice and quiet. Very close to Skaket Beach, our favorite beach on Cape Cod. Also close to Nauset Beach. My daughter loved the big waves at Nauset Beach. We loved our stay and would definitely return! Thanks Marianne!

We enjoyed our stay at Marianne's home. Everything you needed was there for you. The home was very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms had travel size toiletries if needed. Beach chairs, cooler and beach towels were provided along with bedding which is a plus so that you don't have to bring those items.

Marianne thought of everything for this home. We will definitely be coming back!

Another great year for vacationing in this lovely house that has everything you want. Even in a pandemic we were able to find enjoyment in this house that is close to town, yet in a private setting.

We swam in lakes nearby, enjoyed the beach also nearby and we particularly love walking around the inlets and seeing our favorite Osprey nest (who are not necessarily glad to see us).

The house has everything for cooking, or bringing in takeout and boasts a great TV for watching movies at night.

Marianne's home in Orleans was perfect for our stay. There was nothing that we needed, Marianne thought of everything. It was so close to everything. She was available for any questions and responded immediately. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We have been renting this property for a number of years now. It is perfect for us. We love the well stocked kitchen. It is located close to both Nauset and Skaket Beach both very different experiences. It is alway clean and ready for us upon arrival.

You could not ask for a more accommodating person than Marianne. We have already asked to return next year. It feels like home.

We came to Cape Cod for a late-May vacation and definitely enjoyed this home! It was very clean, near our favorite beaches, and had everything we needed, including a great TV for those chilly evenings and an emergency supply of toothbrushes that I dipped into because I forgot mine.

Marianne was a great host, too: very helpful and responsive. Three thumbs up!

Marianne's place in East Orleans is quiet and comfortable, and Marianne is a very responsive and caring host. The place is clean and spotless. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and utensils so that it is easy to cook just about anything without worrying that there is an appliance missing. The house is not right by the water but it is in easy driving distance from both bay and ocean beaches. Marianne is easy to communicate with and very responsive to questions. We would happily recommend this place to others and would stay there again.

I have rented here for a few summers now and plan on many more summers here! This is a great, clean house and Marianne thinks of everything. It's close to shops and a quick ride to Nauset beach! The two bedrooms and bathrooms are away from each other off of a common living space. The back deck always has a breeze and inside there is strong wifi and large TV for those rainy days! And, the washer and dryer means I don't have to over pack!

After some hand-wringing brought on by COVID-19 restrictions, we decided to take the leap and rent a house on the Cape. Choosing Marianne's house was the best decision of the summer! Conveniently located near Orleans center, close to both Ocean beach (Nauset) an Bay (Skaket beach), the house offered everything we needed for a relaxing, rejuvenating summer vacation. The space was perfect for our family, and the host had taken great care to provide every convenience to make our stay comfortable: the kitchen was well stocked, there were beach chairs available, internet, spaces to relax and our favorite, the outdoor shower.

The location was convenient for the activities we enjoy the most: kayaking, visiting the beach, dining locally, trips to ice cream shops.

I highly recommend Marianne's house for everyone looking for a restorative, fun summer vacation. Thank you Marianne!

We had a wonderful time this year despite the pandemic. This is the third or fourth time we've stayed at this wonderful house. It has everything you need to have a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Our host, Marianne, is extremely accommodating and has made many upgrades this year that we enjoyed. A new TV, which we took full advantage of, new couches and a new dishwasher. East Orleans is a great place to stay with so many things to do! The restaurants are open, but with accommodations for covid. We had a wonderful dinner from the Beacon - take out. You will be lucky to rent this lovely house.

I have been staying at the property for several years now. You cannot find a more accommodating owner. The property itself is located close to Nauset as well as Skaket Beach. The home is always spotless and comfortable. I hope to return next year.

I've never rented a house before where the owner thought of EVERYTHING you could need, and then some, but this house has everything you could think of. It's very clean, very cozy, WiFi is excellent, and it's in a pleasant walkable neighborhood, and only a short drive from the center of Orleans. The two bedrooms are at either end of the house, and there are window units in each bedroom. In between, there are multiple fans to use. The week we stayed there it was a little on the cool side, so this was fine. It's also a good house for a family (or two).

This is the second time we've rented from Marianne and both times we found it comfortable, clean and well-equipped. It's the perfect size for us and has all the amenities one could ask for in a vacation home. There is a very cooling breeze all the time and always allows for the healing effects of ocean air which is restorative and relaxing. This very private house is set back from the road which is accessible for walking to a Town Cove landing to take in the sights. There are so many things to do from this location: kayaking, biking, swimming and walking the inlets among our favorite. Marianne is a wonderful host and very accommodating.

This place was perfect for me and my family! The house was just the right size, very clean, and had everything we needed for the week. Marianne even thought to provide soap and laundry detergent, beach stuff, etc. It was a good location, fully stocked with linens and kitchen gear. I highly recommend this place. We have stayed here twice, and enjoyed our visits both times. The house is a large two bedroom, with A/C units in the bedrooms. We liked the location as we could walk along Gibson to Asa's Landing. It's a nice place to swim and enjoy the sunset.

It's also close to Nauset--about a 5 minute drive. And very close to downtown Orleans, the Knack, Nauset Surf Shop, etc. We rode our bikes over to the bike path. Just a great location.

The house is well equipped with everything you'll need. Marianne even provided coffee!

Last thing: there is an outdoor shower, which we love. Such a great way to enjoy the outdoors in the summertime. Try it, you'll love it, too.

This is coming from a first time Airbnb'r and a first time family vacation in the Cape. Our time at Marianne's was such a great pleasure, she was very thoughtful and very responsive...her place is amazing and close to so many things. We can only hope she could say the same about us. This was my third summer renting from Marianne, and each year it is a fantastic getaway. A super comfortable home equipped with everything you could need! The house layout is perfect for hanging out together or having a little privacy, and the back deck is lovely for quiet reading or eating Al Fresco. I would recommend this rental for anyone looking for a nice visit to beautiful Orleans!

Our stay could not have been better. The location was perfect to go to either Skaket or Nauset Beach. The house was very well supplied and very neat and clean. The homeowner Marianne was very kind and professional. We were very pleased and hope to return next year.

This was our second time staying at Marianne's perfect Cape Cod home, and we would do so again and again and again. Words to describe the home: cozy, comfortable, easy, inviting, clean, "feels like home." Marianne is such a gracious host as well, checking in from time to time, making sure garbage cans are empty outside, and having anything one might need in a pinch (soap, beach chairs, etc.). This place was great - clean, comfortable, and capacious. We plan to return in 2018.

We were so pleased with our second visit to Gibson Road and Marianne's hospitality. She goes out of her way to make sure her guests are comfortable and have everything you will need. Arriving late at night for checkin, what a relief to have some breakfast items and coffee waiting. The home is spacious, kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated she immediately updated the coffee mugs to a newer modern size when we suggested it. There is everything you would need for a day at the beach or an evening watching the Orleans Firebirds baseball team. The addition of AC units in the bedrooms are a plus this year too! We found this Orleans cozy Cape Cod house pretty perfect and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely home and a relaxing vacation. It was clean (spotless to be exact) and well appointed, very comfortable, and in a wonderful location just off the lake and driving distance to beaches on the bay and ocean sides. A few things we appreciated: 1) Basic supplies (shampoo, coffee and filters, even spare toothbrushes) were available when we arrived. It made settling in so nice. 2) Great deck with a grill that we used quite often, and a wonderful outdoor shower after a day at the beach. 3) Kitchen was outfitted with everything we would need to cook... And cook we did! 4) The house is in a quiet neighborhood but so close to restaurants and beaches. Marianne is a lovely host, kind enough to check-in from time to time. This was a great summer rental! It had everything I was looking for including 2 bathrooms, washer dryer, and an outdoor shower. Marianne really thought of everything as far as stocking up for guests with paper goods, kitchen supplies, etc. Lots of great walking and biking around, too!

Our stay was very nice. Marianne is very friendly, helpful, and attentive to the needs of her guests. The house was cozy and clean and well equipped (umbrellas, chairs, BBQ, fully equipped kitchen). The spaces were large and more than just enough to accommodate 5 guests. We greatly enjoyed the area. It was quiet, and we appreciated the beaches and local wildlife. The house is convenient to services accessible by car. Marianne has left all kinds of necessities for the use of her guests. As we had a long trip and arrived late, we appreciated the breakfast items she left for us. In the house we found a lot of tourist information, brochures, even binoculars that were very useful for spotting seals and for bird watching. We had a very positive experience. Thank you, Marianne. My husband and I were fortunate to be the first guests at Easy Living in East Orleans. Marianne has done a superb job at getting the house ready for guests. Due to our distance traveled and late arrival, she had some breakfast items awaiting us which was very nice. The house is clean and well equipped for stays on the Cape. It was a nice location to be able to explore the Orleans and Nauset Beach area as well as travel ease for the Upper Cape. We like to eat occasional meals in, instead of eating out every meal and the kitchen is well equipped. She even went out and picked up a few items I requested! The bed is comfy and there is lots of drawer and closet space for you to be able to move in and feel settled. She provides beach chairs and umbrella. Very handy to have a washer and dryer and dishwasher! You really feel like you are at your home away from home as the house is appointed with her family's items (nostalgic from my own childhood). There is virtually no street noise, it is very private, and we never slept better. Marianne was efficient, quickly responsive to questions and comments and we will hope to go back to Easy Living next season! AirBnB review
