This sunny, spacious Cape is beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained throughout. The location is unbeatable! The house is a .1 mile walk to Robert's Cove with private deeded water access. It is a 2.4 mile ride to the National Seashore's Nauset Beach on the Atlantic Ocean and 4 miles to Cape Cod Bay's Skaket Beach.
The main house has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. This sunny, welcoming eat-in kitchen family room has an open concept design, with white paneled walls, light oak hardwood floors, and a brick gas fireplace with sleek mahogany built-ins and a TV. There are two big comfy couches, a cozy chair and ottomans for hanging around. This gourmet kitchen has a large high-gloss blue nautical island with a gray granite four seat counter top. White kitchen cabinetry with boat cleat handles and mahogany high gloss counter tops complete this high end nautical feel. Open mahogany shelving, stainless steel appliances including a stove, microwave, dishwasher, and sink are featured. The dining table has seating for eight.
Off the kitchen, separated by a modern glass barn door, is small den/TV/reading room with a built-in sunbrella upholstered banquette with plenty of hooks for your gear. The first floor guest bedroom has a queen sized white metal bed, large double closet with light oak hardwood flooring. The first floor also has a full bathroom with white tiled shower and white granite sink and mahogany counter.
Two glass sliders open onto a spacious very sunny mahogany and white PVC deck running the entire length of the house. The wonderful deck has a teak table, market umbrella, and wicker chairs. This deck also has a separate, inviting outside seating area with a sofa and oversized lounge chairs.
The second floor has three bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a brand new California King sized bed, separate sitting area with couch and built-ins for ample storage and navy blue stripe wool carpet. The 2nd guest bedroom has a queen sized white metal bed and the fourth bedroom has charming built-in mahogany bunk beds. The second floor full bath has two white sinks with beige honed marble counter top and beige honed marble shower tiles. The main house has white barn doors on each bedroom and white privacy shutters and light oak flooring throughout.
The finished basement has three twin beds and a sitting area with a TV. There is a separate laundry and mudroom that has the washer and dryer, iron and ironing board with storage, and a utility sink plus an extra refrigerator. The laundry and mudroom's door opens to one of the outside showers, yard, and pool.
The large pool/boathouse built in 2015 features an open concept first floor great room and a second floor loft. The first floor consists of a family room TV area; kitchen and full bar area and dining table seating for ten along with full bathroom. The boathouse has fun white painted pine flooring with white washed pine paneled walls throughout to give it a spacious and bright nautical feel. The bathroom has a white with navy tile border shower stall with white sink and mahogany counter top and cabinet. The wet bar area has high gloss mahogany counter tops with under cabinet beverage refrigerator and full dishwasher with stainless sink. It also includes another large table for eating and games, along with a gas Vermont stove. The second floor loft has an amazing game room equipped with a ping pong table and an air hockey table with ceiling fans. There is a set of barn doors a set of sliders open up onto the bluestone patio, yard, and pool. THE KIDS -- big and small -- WILL LOVE IT!
The main house comes with a central air conditioning system with two zones (ceiling fans, no AC in boathouse), smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are on every floor. In addition, the house has high speed internet with EERO 6 mess integration), three HD TV's with three DVD players, telephone, oil heating main house, propane heat in the boathouse, hot water heater underground sprinkler system. There is gas grill on the deck, beach chairs, beach towels, and beach toys. Fresh linens for all beds plus bath, hand, and face towels are provided. Basic cleaning supplies are also included.
Very close proximity to East Orleans village with a country market complete with a fabulous butcher & fish counter, wine & beer, bakery, cafe, and deli. Classic Cape Cod Ice cream parlor, shopping, pizza store, outstanding restaurants, and the Academy of Performing Arts.
Orleans offers a variety of kid-friendly and fine dining restaurants, antique shops, tennis courts, playgrounds, public library, bakeries, mini-golf and bike trails. Enjoy the swimming from the sandy beaches of Nauset Beach on the Atlantic Ocean and Skaket Beach on Cape Cod Bay. In addition, catch the premier Cape Cod Baseball League's Orleans Firebirds, an all-star college baseball team that plays in the famous and historic Eldridge Field at the Nauset Middle School from June til August.
