About our green amenities: Our family cares about the Cape and Islands environment. We work hard to make your vacation as sustainable as possible. We offer many green amenities for you during your stay. We have filtered water on our fridge so you can bring your reusable water bottles and fill up before you head out to the beach
or the Rail Trail. The Cape is phasing out single use plastic water bottles, so many towns no longer sell them. There are many refill stations around town including at Nauset Beach, Skaket Beach, and the Rail Trail across from The Chocolate Sparrow.
We offer eco-friendly cleaning supplies for your health and the health of our Cape Cod waters. There are reusable grocery totes at the house that you can use for shopping. We offer easy single stream recycling by Nauset Disposal. We have many energy star appliances. We purchase wind power to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. We offer composting on site if you'd like to add your fruit and veggie scraps to our bin in the yard.

What an amazing trip to the Cape made even more amazing by our stay at Timothy's home. Plenty of space, every detailed accounted for, convenient location and excellent communication. What a host! We would definitely rent again. Cheers!

My family had a wonderful vacation at Tim and Carrie's house. The house was centrally located with easy access to ocean and bayside beaches and our favorite restaurants and ice cream shops. It was safe and comfortable with every amenity we could possibly need for ourselves and our kids. The house was charming and clean and Tim was easy to reach when we had questions. We would love to stay here again!

    Thanksgiving on The Cape

Spent Thanksgiving in Orleans visiting our son. The house exceeded our expectations. Very clean. Tons of amenities. Their property is well maintained and in a great location. Incredible kitchen with everything you could need. Plenty of room for our group of 8. The yard is fenced and worked well for our dogs. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Carrie was a great host and had very good communication plus there was plenty of documentation provided on-site.

We had a great stay at Timothy and Carrie's home. The house is very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. They provided everything we needed for an easy vacation. We had one day of bad weather and Carrie even wrote to us to share where we could find umbrellas in the house and suggest some activities we could do. I'd definitely recommend a stay at their home.

A wonderful home for a family vacation. The property was comfortable, extremely clean and well appointed. We enjoyed family dinners indoors and out. Easy access to beaches, shops and an excellent jump off point for adventures to Provincetown, Wellfleet and Chatham. The owners are gracious hosts and very responsive.

    Home Away from Home

We have stayed at this vacation home for a number of years now. It really does feel like coming home. This property is impeccably maintained, inside and out. We appreciate the welcome basket with wine, hand sanitizer and other helpful items. We also really liked this year that linens for each bed were in individual large bags to ensure cleanliness and safety. It is nice to have books and games to use throughout our stay; the children always check these out as soon as we arrive! We always enjoy using the grill and patio- what could be better on a beautiful summer night; than fresh cod on the grill, with a glass of wine!

Small touches, like the owner checking in before, during and after our stay, make us feel welcome and wanting to return time and again. Once, when our umbrella blew away in a storm, the owner replaced it quickly and respected our privacy by asking when would be a good time for them to come by. They also left beautiful hydrangeas on the patio table! Finally, this home is close to so many places- the beach, Chatham, restaurants, the baseball field, etc. It is convenient and beautiful- we plan on returning each summer, as long as we are able!

    Family fun vacation

Last year our family decided to vacation down on Cape Cod after years of vacations in Maine. We were so lucky to have found this vacation house! It had everything! A beautiful private back yard, inside is spread out so even a large family has room. It is close to the beaches, shopping and restaurants!

We enjoyed it so much we are returning again and hopefully for many years to come! The hosts are very very nice! It's a win win for a great family vacation! Great memories!

We are a family of four who love to travel, play in the sun, hike and canoe! Carrie has been visiting the Cape for a week each summer with her family since she was in utero. And she introduced Tim to the Cape in 2005. We have been in love ever since! In 2017 we were able to buy our own Cape Cod farmhouse and have been living in the house with our two daughters for the winters and shoulder seasons making improvements and updates each year.

We love to host guests. We give guests ample privacy but are available to quickly answer questions by phone or text as needed. We have a cottage next door, where we typically spend time in the summer, so we are often in the area to quickly address any problems should they arise. We also have an awesome handyman who helps out when we aren't in the area.

What is special about this property?
This open, sunny, antique farmhouse is the perfect place to host friends and family for a beloved Cape Cod vacation. The house is very clean, fresh and well cared for. The bedrooms are well ventilated, with comfy beds, clean quality cotton sheets, dresser or closet for clothing storage. There is central AC in the upstairs bedrooms and a window AC unit in the downstairs master bedroom. This antique house offers the charm of historic New England with bright wooden floors, original beautiful antique doors, tall ceilings and two charming stair cases. In addition to the historic charm, the house still gives you all of the modern necessities for a spectacular, relaxing summer vacation; four flatscreen TVs, dvd players, beautifully remodeled fully appointed cook's kitchen, clean updated bathrooms, laundry room with washer & dryer, clean & fresh outdoor shower, outdoor patio with 6 chairs & umbrella, large fenced in yard with swing set, play house and slide.

What is special about your town?
Orleans is a lovely town. It is located farther out on the Cape, so has less crowds and less traffic. It is still close enough to drive back into Hyannis or head out in the opposite direction to the beautiful, remote and still wild National Seashore beaches. Orleans has one of the best beaches on the Cape as our town beach, Nauset Beach. And with the addition of a new parking lot in 2021 there is now plenty of parking at Nauset. We also have a wonderful kid friendly bay beach, Skaket Beach, with smaller waves, dramatic tide changes and lots of sea creatures (crabs, shells, seaweed, snails etc) at low tide.
