Nauset Escape- Close to the Ocean- Quiet and Secluded

My family and I spent a week in this lovely Orleans home. The home really did look like the photos, and we had everything we needed for our vacation. The owner is very responsive and was very pleasant to work with!

Our family of 5 had a great time at this rental. Plenty of rooms and beds for everyone. The kitchen was stocked with cookware which made it easy make meals there. The location to Nauset Beach was amazing. We were able to walk there. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay there again and recommend to others.

This was my second booking at Nauset Escape, having also rented the house in 2021. Once again, we had a wonderful stay. Great to have good sheets and towels provided, and lovely to have pretty gardens too. And Kara is easy to communicate with, and quick to address any issues.

We loved our stay at Nauset Escape! House was very clean and nicely decorated. The neighborhood is quiet and the back yard is very private. It is very close to Nauset beach but also close to downtown and dining options. Having the beds all made on arrival was a luxury you don't often find. The owner was easy to contact and very responsive.

Thanks so much for a wonderful vacation in your home. It was perfect for three adults and two teenagers! Kara was a great hostess and responsive to any questions we had . Her home is close to Nauset and the swimming was perfect. Would love to come again!

Lovely home at end of cul de sac in a quiet neighborhood right off the main road. This is a family home and not a typical cape rental for a quick buck. Nicely furnished with quality Cape art as well, basically not loaded with Christmas Tree Shop kitch. The functional kitchen has quality small appliances and all the necessary tools. The house is even nicer than the pictures on the website. The dining area has large windows on three sides with a slider to a deck with comfortable furniture. There is a large patio with a dining table for your cookouts needs. Good place for morning coffee and a quiet read. If work follows you on vacation, there is a den/ office on the first floor. No issues with Wi-Fi. Ventless A/C did a nice job cooling the home, considering we had a heat wave that week. Nauset beach is an easy drive within a mile. National Seashore or the shallow bay side beaches are 15-20 minutes away. The outdoor shower for post beach clean up is large and private, and conveniently located off the rear of the garage. There is a comfortable bedroom on the first floor and two more spacious ones upstair. Washer /Dryer in the cleanest basement you'll ever see. The garage is convenient place to drop your sandy beach items or to borrow those of the house. Orleans is a comfortable town. It's a welcoming gateway to the beauty of the Outer Cape. Lastly, the owner (Kara) is great. She was very proactive and very welcoming. The security deposit was returned by the next business day following checkout!

This home was perfect for our family. It is very clean and the owners had it well stocked with everything we needed. There is a beautiful deck with plenty of outdoor seating which we loved.

Because of the pandemic we chose to do take out several times and there were plenty of restaurants in close proximity.

It was in a nice quiet neighborhood and we were happy to be so close to Nauset Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My family of 5 and I had an awesome week staying here. Very homey house with air conditioned large living room and den so that individuals can still get space and downtime. Bedrooms are very comfortable. Having access to bedding and towels made for one less packing burden to worry about. Large deck and backyard surrounded by trees for privacy on a quiet cul de sac.

Convenient location is less than 1/2 mile from Nauset Beach but still close to shops, stores and restaurants. And being in Orleans allows for easy commutes to the Upper and Lower Cape.

And having a caring owner like Kara, who was always accessible via phone or email with questions, etc, just made our planning and stay much more relaxing. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation on the Cape. Our stay here at Kara's was great! The proximity to Nauset beach was key! The home is tucked away on a cul de sac with just a minute or two drive to the beach. The home was welcoming and roomy and had everything we needed for our week stay. The outdoor shower was a pleasant surprise! This home is well located to everything you love about the Cape!

The perfect location and private get away. This home is located so close to Nauset Beach you could easily walk. 2 bedrooms upstairs and one down made it the perfect setup for our family. New deck and furniture overlooking the private back yard was a great retreat.

Owners are awesome and even provided linens and towels as we are from 3000 miles away! Office space was great too! We spent 2 weeks here and loved it!

My two adult daughters and I stayed at Nauset Escape in June. We had a lovely time in the clean, well-equipped home, on a quiet cul-de-sac, with a private yard.

And the house manager, Kara, was a delight to communicate with, and always quick to respond to our questions.

We all hope to return to the Nauset Escape some day.
