I stay here at least twice a year, and each time is better and better! The improvements to the home that I see each time are lovely. Mini splits for heating in the fall and cooling in the summer have been added and make this home even more comfortable. The kitchen is so well equipped that a gourmet chef would be happy to plan a meal in this home! The proximity to the beaches and shopping and dining and activities could not be better. Provincetown, with all it's color and uniqueness is less than a 10 minute drive away. I would recommend this home to a family, or couples who just want to get away! There is plenty of room at the "Fun Home on Hillbourne".

This is our second year staying at this property and we just love it. The set up is perfect for our multi-generation family. The kids love the ping pong table in the basement (in fact, we hardly saw them except for meals!) and the great room (living room, dining room and kitchen is perfect for the rest of the group. The kitchen is very well equipped which is important for us as we cook most of our meals. The house is close to both ocean and bayside beaches, too.

We had all of our meals on the outside deck; what could be better than sitting outside with a cup of coffee and hanging with your family? There's also a canopy to block the sun later in the day. And, a great outdoor shower.

While we used to rented houses in Eastham, we've really grown to love Truro which is less congested, but still convenient for shopping, etc.

The property is very well maintained. The owners could not be more accommodating; in fact, they agreed to buy a second refrigerator for the basement which really helped eliminate extra trips to the supermarket.

We highly recommend this house!

This was a great spot for access to fine beaches nearby, Provincetown or Wellfleet. It was very quiet, very clean, and roomy for six adults and two kids.
It lacked air conditioning but had plenty of fans. The deck off the living room and dining room was a real plus. Plenty of common space and a great master bedroom and en-suite bath. We would return.

This house is an awesome place to stay for a Cape Cod vacation if you like outer cape. The house does not have AC but does have fans. It took a couple of days to cool down since it was hot and humid when we arrived but ultimately the fans worked great.

We found some small broken items here and there which we alerted the owners but the house comes with a well equipped kitchen, TV, movies, games, etc. The house is in a great location and close proximity to many beaches, restaurants and P-town.

Unfortunately we did have a mice problem while we were there. Mice got into much of our food. We notified the owner who advised they had tried to exterminate once before. We set our own traps and caught one mouse but we know there were more since they continued to get into our food. I mention this since there is a cleaning fee for the house that renters must pay. Hopefully this will be resolved for future renters.

We had the best vacation. We loved the house from the great room with spacious living room, large dining table and kitchen to the huge outdoor deck where we ate breakfast and dinner. We cooked most of our meals at the house and really appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was. Comfortable size bedrooms and a large outdoor shower with lots of hot water and pressure. And, the kids adored the ping pong and air hockey tables in the basement; we hardly saw them!

We've typically summered in Eastham and ended up loving Truro even more. The proximity to multiple beaches (Head of the Meadow and Corn Hill were our favorites) and ease of picking up food without getting stuck in lots of traffic are a real plus.

And, the owner was so easy to deal with and very responsive to our questions.

What a fabulous Truro vacation home! We can't say enough wonderful things about Jane and Josn's home in Truro. Quiet. Great neighborhood. Easy to walk or bike to the beach. Easy shopping and restaurants nearby. Incredibly well stocked And maintained. A totally different Cape vacation. Can't wait to go back.

This house was perfect for our family of 3 young adult children and another couple. The nature lovers appreciated the gardens, walking to Highland Light and Payomet and biking to Head of the Meadow. We had some rain but didn't mind spending time relaxing in the open and airy house and thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table! Everything was in great condition including the deck, yard and outdoor shower. We appreciated the instruction book and many suggestions on things to do too.

I have stayed at this home several times now, and as always, everything was impeccable, from the well equipped kitchen to the stunning master suite. It accommodates so many comfortably and is close to everything! I cannot recommend this spot enough! The care the owners take in making everything safe and clean during this pandemic was fabulous! It truly provided the peace of mind and respite needed during these crazy times! I look forward to my next opportunity to visit. It truly is "The Fun Home on Hillbourne"!

We had a fantastic time at this house! It was the perfect place to relax and unwind -- the spacious and airy inside, the expansive deck, access to great beaches, sunsets, hikes, ptown, and delicious seafood!!! The house is well-stocked including bikes, movies, dish towels, and plenty of lobster crackers. The outdoor shower is the bomb! Jane, the homeowner, was easy to work with. Everything went smoothly. We had a fabulous vacation.

Your home was a wonderful place to spend our vacation. The kitchen dining room area is very spacious and comfortable to accommodate our family. We prepared all meals at the house and was pleasantly surprised at how well equipped it is. This is a very clean and well maintained home. One of the best features of this home is the master bedroom and full bathroom. It's very spacious with lots of windows. Wonderful area to read or just relax. Children as well as adults enjoyed the outdoor shower. The deck was great and we enjoyed many breakfast and dinner on it as well as some down time having a nice glass of wine and relaxing. We had a wonderful family week at this beautiful and spacious house in Truro. It never felt crowded because of the open floor plan and terrific deck, and the overhead fans did a great job keeping it cool. I’d love to return to this lovely house (also loved the outdoor shower!) close to our favorite Truro and Provincetown beaches, and our favorite restaurants: Moby Dick’s, and Blackfish.

I recently hosted a wellness retreat for 11 women in Truro and rented this home to serve as our home base, yoga classes, and cooking demonstrations. It was perfect! The main living area is spacious, bright, comfortable, and has lots of seating. There is also a huge deck that served as a great spot for yoga and our fitness classes (comfortably for all 11 of us).

Jane, the owner, was wonderful to work with. She is very responsive and provided all the details that we needed to make our stay at her home a delight.

This is the perfect property for a large family gathering as there are lots of bedrooms - plenty of room for additional air mattresses - and a great location in Truro. It's an easy 1 mile + walk to the beach and an easy drive to any other spots in town.

Everyone who attended the retreat requested that we stay at this home again next year!

The Fun Home lived up to its title! The week was extremely hot and humid., but the nights cooled off making sleep comfortable. The mornings were very relaxing sipping the morning coffee in the morning breeze! The family enjoyed riding the bikes, playing games, and sitting on the deck. We prepared all meals at the house. We had everything we needed and wanted! We enjoyed the Coast Guard Beach and Corn Hill Beach. We hope we can return for another great week next year!

We had a beautiful time is this spacious, clean, family friendly home! We surprised our mom with a Cape Cod getaway for her 70th birthday with her five daughters, a couple of husbands and grandchildren!! We were able to eat and hang out in the open kitchen, lounge on the spacious deck while grilling, and highly enjoyed the games and books that were in the house! We were able to enjoy the beaches that were a 5 min car ride away! Owners are awesome and we look forward to staying again.

This was definitely a wonderful weekend; spent at a place that was very comfortable, clean, roomy, close to Rt 6 and less then 10 minutes from Ptown, even closer to a 'Fresh Fish" market and within 1 /12 miles from a gorgeous beach. Jane and Joan, we cannot wait till next time when we will be able to spend considerable more time there.

We love love love your place! Cannot get better than this. It is walking distance to one of the most pristine beaches on the Cape. Great food, good coffee, wine and chocolate are minutes away. The street is quiet.

And now for the house. It is spacious, clean, beautifully maintained, well stocked and comfy and warm. There is lots of common space as well as rooms to retreat to if the hubbub is getting to you. It has a huge deck, grill and nice furniture. No downsides. Finally, Jane and Joan are the best!

Where to begin...thank you, Jane & Joan, for sharing your beautiful beach house with us. We had such a wonderful stay. The house easily accommodated our large family (at times 6 adults and 4 children). The open living room/kitchen was so spacious and provided a great gathering place. The kitchen was very well equipped. There were other areas in the home if you wanted your own space. The front deck was great. It was nice having a glass of wine while gazing at stars. I loved the house's location on a quiet dead-end street. The lot was wooded and afforded privacy from neighbors. The location made it easily accessible to everything. The house was clean and well maintained. The beds/bedrooms were very comfortable. My nephew enjoyed the use of your bike -so again, thank you.

Working with Jane was great. She made the entire rental process very easy. We had such a fantastic time. We are definitely planning on renting again next year.

Jane, I just wanted to let you know that our family had a wonderful week in your beautiful home! Everything was perfect; lots of space both indoors and out, great area for walking to the beach and lighthouse. Everything we need to cook in and relax at night. Super comfortable and can't wait to return next year!

We've been coming to the Cape for many years and this home was hands down the best we have ever rented. It had 4 spacious bedrooms, a wonderful outdoor shower, bikes to use, and table tennis in the basement. We had 4 adults and 2 children in our party and we were all able to spread out and relax in the home after a day at the beach or a trip into Ptown.

This home had all the comforts of home and then some! The deck was nice to sit out and have a nice dinner after a long day at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with whatever you may need to cook. This home is very close to Truro Vineyards. We had such a relaxing time that we could have stayed another week. Jane and Joan were great and very responsive with any questions or concerns. The home is absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to come back! Thank you for such a relaxing week!!!!!!

Thank you for the wonderful stay, Joan and Jane. Very pleasant couple of days, relaxed and enjoyed warming up with a fire during the rain, and visiting Ptown in the sun. So much lobster. I'll remember this trip. Highly recommended.

I have rented Cape homes in the past, and have had good experiences. The expectation is that you will have a clean place to hang your hat and just the right amount of pots and pans to rattle if you feel the need to dine in on your vacation. This time, though, was exceptional! Upon arriving, immediately it had a different feel -- it was home! The huge deck is amazing, the grounds so peaceful, the master suite is stunning, and the kitchen is so well equipped that Gordon Ramsey could have come walking through the door and been happy! The main living area is incredibly comfortable as well. Who doesn't like an electric reclining couch and an extensive DVD library to cap your evening off!

The location is perfect! It feels very private and secluded and yet is literally a 10 minute drive to Provincetown. And I must say that early October was a great time to be there. The sun was bright and the air was crisp. All the shops and restaurants were still open, but there were no long lines or waiting for a table. And parking was plentiful. I can't say enough about this home, and the people who have opened it up for our use. I truly believe it is a labor of love for them. You can just feel it. I look forward to a return trip

We spent a week here and wish we could have spent the month. The house was in perfect order and easy to maintain. The deck was perfect for evening star gazing and we utilized the grill for our lobster bake! The beds are cozy throughout the house. The outdoor shower was a treat. The hot water was able to withstand two (but not three) separate showers running at a time and quickly replenished (about 10-15 minutes) for the next batch of bathers. We were even able to use the bikes to stroll around town or meet each other at the various beaches right nearby! We would be happy to be back here any season of the year!

A great place for a Cape Cod getaway! The owners responded immediately when there was a small problem with the appliances. The house is in a great location with close access to the National Seashore and the Highland Links. My family had a great reunion here, and the layout of the house with its big, well supplied kitchen and open living area was perfect for our get together. I would definitely rent here again next year.

This house was perfect for our family. It was spacious enough so we could all spread out and relax, plus we were also able to entertain with our friends and additional family members. The house was comfortable and very clean. The pictures online are accurate, but there have been upgrades on some of the furniture which was an added bonus. The owners left plenty of supplies to start us off and included many "extras" such as a wide DVD and board game collection. The location was perfect for us and was the right balance of privacy with easy access to multiple beaches, shopping, and P-town. We could not have been happier with this home and can't wait to come back!

This is your ideal North Truro house -- spacious, airy, well-located, well-equipped, comfortable. Not fancy-schmancy, which makes it all the more relaxing. Perfect for the couple who wants privacy from guests and/or children, as the master suite is truly a retreat. I was concerned about being too far away from Ptown, but it was easy peasy to get there by bus or car, very fast. And a 7-minute bike ride from Coast Guard Beach. And 5 minutes to the best ice cream on the Outer Cape. What more do you need??

We had a blast at the house! A light-filled, spacious retreat surrounded by trees. We walked to the lighthouse and overlook every morning to see the waves crashing on the beach. Come. Stay. Enjoy.

What a lovely home! The upper floor is open, large, with a wonderful fireplace. The kitchen is modern and spacious. The house is in a quiet wooded setting, yet within walking distance of a quaint lighthouse and Coast Guard Beach. What a wonderful retreat! I can't wait to return.
