Our elegant, contemporary two-level home, set on two wooded acres, was designed by a local architect (Geiger). It has a perfect flow for family living and casual entertaining. The spacious living area has a wood-burning stove, skylights and cathedral ceiling, stereo, cable, WiFi and television with DVD and VCR. Sliding glass doors lead to a large deck overlooking woods and a small pond. The fully-equipped kitchen includes toaster, coffeemaker and microwave.

The property is within walking distance of Corn Hill, a beautiful family beach on the Bay side. It is a short drive or bike to Truro"s beautiful ocean beaches and several swimming ponds. The Castle Hill Center for the Arts is nearby. The home is a quiet respite midway between the bustle of Provincetown and the galleries and theater of Wellfleet.

    Our family has owned this land since 1963 and finally built our home in 1982. We have a deep love for Cape Cod and especially for Truro, where we have spent many happy vacations. It's been a central place for friends and family to come and relax and enjoy the variety of activities the Cape has to offer. Several of our kids took their first steps in Truro, that must say something.

    What is special about this property?
    Our home is nestled in the woods with a view of a local pond - a great habitat for local birds and frogs. It's all quite peaceful and far from the madding crowd. Swimming is only minutes away: we are walking distance to the bay and a five minute drive to the ocean. There are also kettle ponds in the area for fresh water swimming.

    What is special about your town?
    Truro is a tiny town, which is why we love it. There are no commercial stores - only small locally owned businesses. If you prefer activity, we are a short drive to the restaurants, shops and galleries of Provincetown.
