Vacationing in this private suite in this quiet 2 family home is a bit like having your own in-town apartment. Nestled into the second floor in one of Wellfleet''s historic ship captains'' homes, the suite* has its own separate entrance, a full kitchen and private bath. While it is a very short walk to the Wellfleet library, and to the galleries and restaurants in town, the suite is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is removed from summer''s heightened downtown activity.

The 3-room suite/apartment is quiet and cozy. The bedroom contains a king size bed, a sofa and an easy chair. An intentional effort was made to make this main room comfortable and not too fussy. Other amenities include high speed wireless internet access, an HD television using a Roku device (for a variety of standard stations and premium viewing) and a multi- region DVD player. A window air conditioner in the bedroom can be used in the occasional summer heat wave - when the window fans would not be sufficient..<br /> <br /> The eat-in kitchen was set up with your every day cooking and dining needs in mind. The full bath has a combined tub/shower, and there are always extra towels. All linens are fragrance free.<br /> <br /> The town marina and the Mayo Beach area are about a one mile walk. You would probably want to have a bicycle or car to get to other beaches.<br /> <br /> And,<br /> -In season reservations are "by the week"usually starting on Friday afternoons, off season reservations require a 2 night minimum stay.<br /> -There is an outside exclusive use seating area, and a new gas Weber grill.<br /> -The unit has been pet free since at least 1990.<br /> -The apartment is a smoke free accommodation.<br /> -Ask about laundry options for longer stays.<br /> <br /> 130 West Main Street is a quiet owner-occupied home. Your privacy is always respected. <br /> I have been renting this suite/apartment since 1992. It has just come back on the rental market following a nine year rental to the same customers for the summer seasons. I have been a member of the Wellfleet Chamber of Commerce since 1993.
