Welcome to our little hideaway nestled amongst the trees on the edge of the Herring River conservation area. Relax in the cozy living room after a day at the beach. Or, enjoy the secluded deck off the sunroom while you grill some delicious, fresh-caught fish. The cottage is ideal for two to four people but can sleep up to six.

You can conveniently walk into town even though the cottage is tucked away at the very end of a dead end dirt road. First stop at Flying Fish for morning coffee and homemade baked goods, continue to main street and visit the shops or go to the market. Drive 5 minutes to Newcomb Hollow Beach, 2.8 miles away.

On your way to the beach depending which route you take there are 2 ponds. Gull Pond and Long Pond, both great for distance swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing or young children learning to swim. At sunset - ride your bike 5 minutes down to Wellfleet Harbor and watch the sunset as you sit at a picnic table eating Mac's Seafood followed by an ice cream!

Wellfleet actually has four ocean beaches, the closest being Newcomb Hollow. Maybe you'll want to explore and pick your own favorite beach. Just make a right instead of a left onto Ocean View Drive to find; Cahoon Hollow Beach, White Crest Beach and Le Count Hollow Beach. Or for a gentler saltwater experience, the bay side also has some lovely beaches. Mayo Beach is located immediately adjacent to the harbor, or continue down Chequesett Neck Road to Powers Landing. When you come back from the beach of your choice, have a relaxing outdoor shower, sit on the deck, grill up some fish or walk into town for dinner...enjoy your vacation! read more show less

    Peaceful, private woodland cottage

    Lovely cottage on the marshes of Wellfleet. Close to everything but secluded and quiet. Especially loved the well stocked kitchen and perennial shade gardens! And the owners were a pleasure to work with.

    Quaint Cottage, Perfect Location!

    This is a very quaint cottage! It was very comfortable and back deck with the grill was the best spot to cook dinner! We loved the views of the conservation area! Great location too, it is walking distance to many local restaurants (Flying Fish, Moby Dick's) and a handful shops in the center of town! We rode our bikes into town several time which was very convenient and a lot of fun! We took our 2 dogs and they both had a great time!

    We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciate the owners responsiveness all along! The cottage is as described, very comfortable, clean and well stocked, and it is walking distance to great coffee and pastries at Flying Fish! We particularly loved the great sunset over the marsh! Our dog felt very at home in and out of the cottage!
