    Classic Cape Cod Beach Escape

    We stay at the Dune Pearl every single summer, and it truly feels like our home away from home. The house is incredibly welcoming and cozy, with a large kitchen and super convenient laundry facilities that make traveling with family a breeze.

    One of the best practical features is having two showers—one inside and one outside. It is a total game-changer for a beach house, meaning no one ever has to wait around after a day in the sand.

    My absolute favorite part of the house, though, is the sliding doors right off the master bedroom that lead to the back deck. I love sneaking out there in the morning with a cup of coffee and a book while the rest of the house is still sleeping. Later in the evening, we all gather on the front part of the wrap-around deck, which has plenty of seating for outdoor meals and listening to the waves crash.

    The absolute best part of the Dune Pearl is that the beach is right at the end of the private road. Because it's private, it is never crowded and there is always ample room to spread out. The homeowners provide chairs, umbrellas, and plenty of beach toys, so you don't have to pack the whole house. If you catch the tide when it's low, there is a fantastic soft sandbar that is perfect for boogie boarding—we stay out there riding the waves until we're too sore to keep going!

    Dune Pearl is a gem of a cottage! Located on a private road with direct access to the beach, it is extremely well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is modern with everything a renter could need, the bedrooms are comfortable and the wraparound deck has stunning views of the ocean. Outdoor dining is possible on the deck or the porch. Dune Pearl is conveniently situated close to Wellfleet Center and local restaurants.
    I highly recommend Dune Pearl and am looking forward to my next stay!

    Jon spent all of his summers visiting Wellfleet since early childhood and has done the same with his family. Dune Pearl is an amazing place where our family spends relaxing, quality time together.

    What is special about this property?
    Dune Pearl sits on a private road that has stair access down to a private beach area adjacent to LeCount Hollow Beach. We love the easy mornings wiht breakfast on the deck listening to the ocean waves and then making our way down to the beach for the day. We have no problem running back up to the house to make lunch or use the bathroom. The outdoor shower is the perfect cap to a great beach day. We either grill fresh fish from Hatchs or Macs or head into town for dinner. The house is updated and has a fully stocked and functioning kitchen. Beds are comfy and nights are cool with the ocean breeze.

    What is special about your town?
    Wellfleet is low key, artsy, with a little something for everyone. Our house is 1.5 miles from the Beachcomber, less than a mile from the bike trail and an easy back roads ride into Wellfleet Center or to the bayside. Wellfleet offers so many wonderful restaurant options that we don't often leave town!
