An instagrammer's guide to Cape Cod

Tyler Pyburn | 5/5/2017

Most people know that Cape and Islands offer up some of the most eye catching sceneries in the world. But what are the most photo-ready spots in the area that you absolutely have to get a snapshot of? We asked a pair of Instagram experts, Chris from CapeCodInsta, Samantha from Capeology, and Kristina from CapeKLC to give us their views on the Cape and Islands. Literally.

Ready…Set…Shoot

What spots on the Cape are Instagram Gold?

Chris: That's what's so great about the Cape, there are so many spots to get that perfect shot. Some favorites are the Gray's Beach (Bass Hole) boardwalk in Yarmouth, the Knob in Falmouth, Rock Harbor in Orleans and any of the beaches.

Samantha: Provincetown! Patriotism always performs well on Instagram and this awesome spot does just the trick. Love posting this location around 4th of July, Labor Day, and Memorial Day Weekend.

What is one of your favorite pictures from the Cape?

Samantha: The Hydrangea Walk in Chatham (I’m obsessed with hydrangeas, so you could say this house is my dream home!)

Chris: It's hard to choose just one. We're tagged in so many photos daily, so we see so many great shots from all over the Cape. We have a new favorite pic every day and you'll see it featured on our Instagram account.

Best spot to see the sunset/sunrise?

Samantha: Sandwich Boardwalk has hands down some of the best sunsets the Cape has to offer. And let’s face it, Instagram followers love a good sunset picture.

Chris: Any beach on the Cape

We recently interviewed Kristina from CapeKLC and she shared her answers in the video below:

Just remember that whenever you're posting a picture to instagram from the Cape always tag your photos using #getbacktocapecod #capeology and #capecodinsta
