greatest tasting seafood, great staff, casual atmosphere. anything lobster is the best!! the menu has something for anyone in the family - it's my grandson's favorite restaurant (he's five!). every year we've vacationed at the cape and eaten here multiple times, the wait staff always take time to spend with each of their tables and they're always soooooooooooo busy!!

Most definitely worth waiting in line to be greeted by a sociable cashier who was very friendly and courteous while taking our orders. After a short wait our party of eight was seated in the upper dining room and enjoyed a lovely breeze while eating our meals.
My meal consisted of the grilled chicken breast with a side of French fries. The chicken breast was perfectly cooked and tasted great as well as the barbecue sauce that came with it. It made for a very filling meal and was very satisfying. The French fries were excellent and crisp. Others in my party were equally satisfied with their choices of broiled scallops, fish sandwiches, Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and more.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone near the Wellfleet area as Moby Dick's is a great restaurant with fabulous food, and quick and courteous service. Come early because the lines can get long!

We eat in the restaurant, we call for take-out, we love this family-owned, family-supervised place. Todd gets the best hard-shell lobsters we've ever eaten, and boils them to perfection. (You can have the claws cracked in the kitchen if you like.) If you enjoy fried food, the clams, oysters and the Bloomin' Onion are wonderful. For those who like it plain, try the salmon.

The staff of young people could not be nicer, they are well-trained and happy to take that extra step. BYOB, and an ice bucket, cork-screw, or beer opener appears. Although there are different opinions about which dessert to get, the strawberry shortcake always gets my vote. My husband loves Moby's Madness, basically chocolate with chocolate.
Every summer at least one family group picture is taken in Moby's. Try it, you'll join the happy diners who know it well.

Oh, I should mention that it's always clean, and the restrooms are well kept.
Very family and child friendly.

In season there is a line, but it moves so fast that nobody should be put off.

We love Moby Dick's! The lobster rolls and fish n chips are fantastic!! We really love the laid back atmosphere. There is a fun gift shop next door. This is one spot we try to hit every time we visit the Cape.
