Just remodeled. This adorable 1 bedroom house is bright, cozy and relaxing. Sit outside and enjoy the sunshine while listening to the birds sing and the breeze blow through the trees.

Situated in an estate-like setting on a dead end street. Close to everything but far enough away. 1st floor is open and contains a large living area, dining area, and kitchen with brand new appliances. Here you will also find a 1/2 bath with a washer and dryer. The back door leads out to a shady private porch area with an outdoor shower and gas grill. This leads to the side porch area with table and chairs for outdoor dining and is also a great area for sunbathing and relaxing.

The second floor contains a large sitting area the contains a cozy reading nook, a trundle bed for the kids or guests, a full bathroom with shower and large bedroom with a king size bed. Step out the back door to the sunny deck.

Walk or drive to Electric beach (salt water) only .8 miles away or to Queen Sewell Pond (fresh water) only .5 miles away. Close to downtown Buzzards Bay restaurants, Buzzards Bay Park, The Cape Cod Canal and the Bourne Bridge.

    Absolutely perfect

    What a beautiful gatehouse, located on a spectacular manicured property. All new appliances, including a washer & dryer. Super comfortable bed and incredible outdoor shower. David & Lisa were great hosts. Ideal location in beautiful Buzzards Bay. We hated to leave

    Sweet and Cozy House

    We loved staying at this beautiful, comfortable, house. It's in a great location, 5 easy minutes from the Bourne Bridge and close to restaurants, shops, and beaches. The house was spotless and offered everything we needed for our week's stay. The host and hostess were responsive and made us feel welcome. The property is peaceful and it was wonderful to sit on the upstairs deck and enjoy the sun or shade. We had a lovely time and fully recommend it!

    Amenity-filled house in a park-like setting!

    We stayed here for what was probably the hottest week in record on the Cape—but between the central air conditioning, the close proximity to a bunch of beaches on the Cape, and the wonderful outdoor shower in this home, we were as comfy and happy as we could be!

    David and Lisa have seen to every guest's need in the Gate House. Brand new appliances fill the kitchen and laundry room, the master bedroom has a great king-size bed, and the big Weber grill outside alongside the outdoor dining area was a breeze to use. Beautiful views of the surrounding estate filled the living room windows! A last nice touch was the selection of beach reads upstairs. I've stayed in many vacation homes over the years and this was by far the most immaculate and nicest of them all—and truly a bargain! show more show less
