Having spent summers on Cape Cod my entire life, I was excited to retire here and spend time providing guests and opportunity to enjoy this very special corner of the world. I try to provide the same experience I expect when I travel and to treat guests as I would wish to be treated. Whatever it takes to exceed expectations is the attitude I bring as a host to any and every guest in our home

What is special about this property?
This home has a gorgeous sweeping view of the Cape Cod Canal, and perched on a bluff, it is one of the few homes with views of both Cape Cod bridges. The house is about 1500 sq feet and the rooms feel large and comfortable, especially the 26 ft living room. Visitors especially enjoy lingering in the very private ack yard, on the deck, cooking on the grill, or sipping a glass of wine as the sun sets and the beautiful array of boats glide by below. Tastefully furnished and as comfortable as home, guests feel welcome from the moment they step inside this special getaway oasis

What is special about your town?
Being on the mainland side of the canal means not having to deal with bridge crossings during peak traffic hours. The house is in the town of Bourne, in the postal district of Buzzards Bay, immediately adjacent to Sagamore. Providence and Boston are both about an hour drive, and Provincetown, at the tip of the Cape, is about 68 mile drive. Ferries to the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are a short drive, and world class restaurants, shopping, and beaches are all in close proximity. The first Summer White House in the United States was in Bourne, in the Gray Gables section of town, and was owned by President Grover Cleveland, the only President to serve two non consecutive terms in the White House. The prestigious Massachusetts Maritime Academy is just down the road in Buzzards Bay
